Spring 2017:

In senior season, saw action in five matches, three on court six singles and two on court three doubles…earned 6-1 victory over FAMU with Alex Knaff…tied 5-5 with Georgia Southern when the Seminoles clinched the doubles point…fell in straight sets on court six at No. 11 North Carolina…earned a 6-2, 6-0 straight set victory over Connor Mullins of Boston College on April 9…fell to No. 90 Henrik Wiersholm against No. 2 Virginia in the regular season finale…for his career, Albo amassed 28 total singles victories as well as 13 doubles victories in his four years as a Seminole…will complete his undergraduate degree in the fall with a 3.9 GPA in Information Technology, and plans to pursue a master’s degree upon graduation.

Fall 2016:

Went 2-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles during the Las Palmas Invitational in Puerto Rico…earned two wins over Mercer and doubles wins over Mercer Illinois playing with fellow senior Jack Haffey


Finished the season 10-11 overall and 2-5 in the spring…dealt with an injury through much of the spring that limited him to seven matches, including five in the ACC…went 8-6 in singles and 3-6 in doubles action during the fall…opened the season splitting four matches at the Bedford Cup in Naples…won his final two matches at the Collegiate Clay Court Invitational, including a straight-set win against Daniel Yun of Georgia Tech…won two of three singles matches in Hawai’i in early January…playing with Jose Gracia, reached the doubles Round of 16 at the Southeast Regionals in Gainesville in October.


Went 9-6 in singles and 6-2 in doubles…was 4-1 in dual matches, including a three-set win over No. 42 Michigan at the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Austin, Texas…missed two months with an injury mid-season before returning against No. 4 Virginia in April…won his only doubles result of the spring, a 6-1 win with Jose Gracia against Florida A&M…reached the doubles semifinals of the Bedford Cup in Jacksonville.


Finished the season 6-5 in singles and 1-1 in doubles play…started his Seminole career dropping four of five singles matches in the fall, but rebounded nicely to win four of five in the spring, including ACC victories on Ct. 6 over No. 23 Clemson and No. 4 Virginia…against the Cavaliers, knocked off the only ranked opponent of his career, No. 106 Luca Corinteli, 6-4, 6-3…in the ACC Tournament against top-seed Virginia, led J.C. Aragone 6-4, 0-2 before the match was called…was perfect in two matches on Ct. 5, taking down The Citadel and Florida A&M…in doubles, lost against South Alabama’s Tuki Jacobs and Shayann Vaezzadeh at the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational at Disney playing with Jack Haffey…against Florida A&M on March 23, won his only doubles match of the season, an 8-2 decision.

High School

Five-star recruit from The Sagemont School in Weston, Fla…won singles (2012 and 2013) and doubles (2011 and 2012) 1A FHSAA titles…won 2011 and 2013 Boys Tennis Team State Championship while at Sagemont…first team All-Broward County from 2011-2013…ranked No. 6 in the state of Florida and No. 38 in the nation by…won the Whispering Pines Boys 18 in Port St. Lucie in December 2012…reached the semifinals of the Delray Beach ITF, USTA Regional Tournament in Coral Gables and the Dave Barkesdale Dixie Winter Section B in Tampa.


Born November 17, 1994…son of Victor and Michelle Albo…started playing tennis when he was seven…majoring in information technology.
