Spring 2020:

Went 3-2 in singles and 2-2 in doubles throughout the spring…played all but one match on court two and had four matches go unfinished…won her first match of the spring with a 6-3, 6-4 win on court two against FAU’s A. Fernandez Horta…helped Florida State upset No. 21 Mississippi State with a 1-6, 7-5, 7-5 match-clinching win on court two against Florian Broska…won his last singles match of the season before it was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic against Auburn’s Tom Wright on court two 6-3, 6-1…earned his first doubles win of the season on court one against FAMU with Marcus Walters…his second doubles win came on court two against Vanderbilt as Jalif paired up with Loris Pourroy to earn a 6-3 win.

Fall 2019:

Finished the fall with a 3-3 singles record and a 3-2 doubles record…went 2-1 in singles during the Destin Invite, earning a 6-0, 7-5 win over Oklahoma’s Jochen Bertsch and a 6-0, 6-4 in over LSU’s Daniel Moreno… in doubles he earned two wins as well with Loris Pourroy by his side…they defeated Oklahoma’s Mandlik/Stewart 8-5 and Tulane’s Ruetzel/Kotorman 8-3…won one match at the ITA Southeast Regional against Sebastian Osorio of Kennesaw State…in doubles he won one match at Regionals while paired with Sebastian Arcila, the pair defeated Fernandez Horta/Maxime Laprailla of FAU 8-3.

Spring 2019:

Started off his Florida State career against Florida (Feb. 2)… finished the spring with a 5-8 singles record and a 4-9 doubles record… clinched the doubles point against Auburn with Bryn Nahrung 7-6(5) on court two… clinched another doubles point with Sebastian Arcila on court one against Boston College… earned two huge match-clinching wins in his first season… clinched the upset win over No. 11 Notre Dame with a 7-6 (2), 1-6, 6-4 win on court four over Guillermo Cabrera… clinched the Noles ACC Tournament first-round match against Duke with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win on court three against Catalin Mateas.

Before FSU:

Had a career-high juniors ranking of No. 37 in the world and earned a career-high ranking of 1,639 on the pro tour…was the number one 16U player in South American in 2015 and the best junior tennis player in Argentina in 2016…was also named Best Sportsman of the Year from 2014-17 in Salta, Argentina.
