Finished the spring with a 3-6 singles record and a 2-8 doubles record…won his first two singles matches of the season with a 6-3, 6-2 win against FAU’s Filip Krolo on court four and a 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 win over Kacper Dworak of Louisiana on court three…his third singles win of the season came on court four against Marcus Ferreira of Vanderbilt when Walters won 6-3m 7-6(3)…earned one doubles win with Juan Martin Jalif on court one 6-4 against FAMU…his second doubles win came on court two with Sebastian Arcial when the pair won 6-3 against No. 46 Clemson

Marcus Walters (Nottingham, United Kingdom /Tyler JC) attended Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas where he was ranked the No. 1 singles and doubles JUCO player in 2018. Walters was a part of the 2018 and 2019 Junior College National Championship team as well. He was named the ITA Rookie of the year for the Junior College level and was named to the ITA College All-Star Team in 2018. Walters also made an appearance in the ITA Fall Championships against 64 of the best players in all of college tennis. He advanced to the second round. As a junior, Walters won British nationals in 2012. He also represented Great Britain at the European winter championships.
