Spring 2021

Totaled 15 wins in 2021…split his time playing on lines 3 and 4 in singles…posted the fourth-most singles wins on the team…recorded one of the team’s three wins over a nationally ranked doubles opponent…joined with Alex Knaff to defeat the 31st-ranked doubles team from Georgia Tech…their upset win was one of three ranked doubles wins for the team in 2021.

Spring 2020:

Finished the spring with a 7-4 singles record and a 5-5 doubles record…earned two ranked singles win and one ranked doubles win…started the spring with a five-match win streak with three of those matches on court three and two on court four…went 2-1 on court two, 3-2 on court three and 2-1 on court four…earned his first career ranked singles win against No. 21 Mississippi State on court four when he defeated No. 101 David Tortoa 6-4, 6-1…his second ranked doubles win came against No. 42 Oklahoma when he took down No. 100 Mason Beiler 6-4, 6-2…in doubles he finished the spring with a 4-3 record on court one and a 1-2 record on court two…his fourth career ranked doubles win and only ranked doubles win of the season came on court one against South Alabama when he paired up with Alex Knaff to take down No. 30 Loic Cloes and Clements Marzol 6-1…finished the spring 4-3 with Alex Knaff and 1-2 with Marcus Walters

Fall 2019:

Finished the fall with a 5-3 singles record and a 3-3 doubles record…was ranked No. 11 in the nation in doubles with Alex Knaff to start the fall…went 2-1 in the Bedford Cup with a 6-1, 6-0 win over USF’s Jacob Wojcik and a 7-5, 7-5 win over FAU’s L. Fernandez Labarta…Once again went 2-1 during the ITA Southeast Regional…earned wins over USF’s Pierre Luquet and Georgia Southern’s Bailey Showers…in doubles he played two matches each with Loris Pourroy, Juan Martin Jalif and Rana Roop Singh Bhullar…went 1-1 with Pourroy in the Bedford Cup with an 8-2 win over FAU’s Fernandez Labarta and Bryan Kulikov…went 1-1 again in the ITA Southeast Regional with Jalif, earning their only win over FAU’s Fernandez Horta and Maxime Lapraille (8-3)…finished the fall with a 1-1 record in the Dick Vitale Invite with Bhullar…his only with with Bhullar came against Duke’s Garret Johns and Samuel Robell (8-2)

Spring 2019:

Played most of the season as a doubles specialist with a 15-7 doubles record… played in 11 singles matches, most of them towards the end of the season finishing with an 8-3 record… finished 13-6 with partner Alex Knaff… got off to a 7-0 start in singles with five of his wins on court six and two on court five…along with Knaff earned ACC Doubles Pair of the Week honors (2/26) after beating Clemson’s Pierre-Louis Dodens and Jacob Jahn on court one 6-4… captured his first ranked doubles win against NC State’s 57th ranked Alexis Galarneau and Michael Ogden 7-6(2)… followed that up with two more ranked doubles wins… defeated Wake Forest’s 62nd ranked doubles pair of Gojo and Gadjiev 6-4… earned a doubles win over 18th ranked Pavel and Hilderbrand of UCF in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Fall 2018:

Completed the fall with a 3-3 singles record and a team-high seven doubles wins…went 3-1 in singles and 2-2 in doubles at the Bedford Cup…made it to the finals of the ITA Southeast Regional with partner Alex Knaff after winning four straight doubles matches…went 1-1 in doubles with Knaff at the ITA Fall Championships.

Spring 2018:

Season was cut short by injury… was a perfect 5-0 in singles play with all five matches on courts five and six… undefeated in doubles (4-0) as well with matches played on courts two and three… played in his first collegiate match against Hawai’i at the No. 6 position…defeated Tristan Martin 6-3, 6-4…defeated Lebelo Alex Mosehle of Florida A&M Feb. 10) 6-3, 6-0 on court five…earned his first two career doubles dual wins with partner Chase Wood in the weekend doubleheader against The Citadel and FAMU (Feb. 10)…went 2-0 in both singles and doubles against New Orleans and Liberty; was the first one to finish in singles of both matches with a 6-1, 6-2 win against UNO on court five and a 6-1, 6-0 win against LU on court six (Feb. 24)…clinched his first match of the season at Pepperdine with a 6-4, 6-1 win on court six (mar. 12)…

Before FSU:

Played as the number one player for his home country of Puerto Rico in the Davis Cup…competed in the Junior US Open…ranked in the Top-100 in the world (ITF Juniors) …was the No. 13 ranked player in the 2017 recruiting class.


Started playing tennis at six years old…was a multi-sport athlete, playing tennis, basketball, soccer and volleyball…son of Anny Falgas, Sergio Arcila…has one sister, Daniella…born June 26, 1998.
