Transferred to Florida State in January from LSU, where he was a five-time All-American…has immediately contributed to sprint coach Ken Harnden’s stable of talented runners, earning a return trip to the NCAA Indoor Championships in both the 60 and 200…finished fifth in the 200 finals (20.89) after qualifying sixth in a season-best 20.77…was ACC Indoor Championship runner-up to teammate Maurice Mitchell in the 200 and finished fourth in the 60…tall, strong runner who figures to bolster both the 4×100 and 4×400 Seminole relays in the spring, as well as factor on the national scene in both the 100 and 200.


Outdoor – capped his only year at LSU with a bronze medal finish in the 200 at the NCAA Outdoor Championship after posting a personal-best 20.44 preliminary round time…was also a member of the Tigers’ fourth-place 4×100 team (39.20) and advanced to the semifinal round in the 100…outstanding season included his participation on the winning 4×100 and 4×200 relay teams at the prestigious 117th Penn Relays…was SEC silver medalist in the 200…also a member of school record-setting 4×200 quartet at Texas Relays (1:20.62). Indoor – picked up a team-leading three All-American honors at the NCAA Indoor Nationals in College Station, Texas…finished fourth in the 200 with an indoor PR of 20.68, placed sixth in the 60 (6.71) and ran second leg of LSU’s eighth-place 4×400 relay team…won SEC bronze in the 60 and 200…collected four wins in the 60, including the Razorback Invitational and New Balance Collegiate Invitational in New York…was honored as LSU Newcomer of the Year at the annual team awards banquet in April.

2009 & 2010

Earned five NJCAA All-American honors while starring at Hinds (Miss.) Community College…was a member of Hinds’ 2009 national championship 4×100 relay team (39.06) as a freshman…made NJCAA finals appearances outdoors in the 200 (third, `09) and 100 (fifth, `09) and indoors in the 200 (fourth, `09) and 60 (eighth, `10)…also played football at Hinds Community College. Personal:Starred at Oxford (Miss.) High where he won a total of six state track titles in his career, including sweeps of the 100 and 200 as a junior and senior…tied the 4A state record as a senior in the 100 (10.39) and set a new one in the 200 (21.32)…bronze medalist in the 100 at the 2008 Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, N.C…has a daughter named Sarai Danielle Williams…majoring in sport administration…born June 17, 1989.
