Indoor: Returning as a grad student after missing all of 2019 due to injury, capped his season with a fifth-place heptathlon finish (4,783 points) at the ACC Championships, contributing to the Noles’ third consecutive team title…saw action in only one other meet, competing in three events at the season-opening Orange & Purple Elite.
Indoors: Set up his Heptathlon season competing in three events at the Orange & Purple Invitational and three at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational, where he recorded a new PB in the 60-meter hurdles (8.37), advancing to the finals…season Heptathlon debut at the Razorback Invitational produced a new PB of 5,198 points and a fourth-place finish…also produced a high jump PB (1.99m/6-6.25)…followed up with a third-place Hep finish at the ACC Indoor Championships earning first-team All-ACC honors while contributing to the Noles’ team title with a new PB of 5,291 points…ranks No. 3 all-time among Noles in the Hep. Outdoors: Competed in five meets while battling through injury…gutted out a seventh-place finish in the Decathlon at the ACC Outdoor Championships as the Noles completed their season sweep of team titles.
Indoors: Competed in three meets including the ACC Championships…participated in seven different events…opened the year with a third-place heptathlon finish at Clemson’s Bob Pollock Invitational, with a then-personal best total of 4,963 points…posted new personal bests in six of seven heptathlon events: 60m dash (7.01), 60m hurdles (8.49), high jump (1.90m/6-2.75), long jump (6.83m/22-5), shot put (12.66m/41-6.5) and 1000m (2:54.44)…registered first ACC Championships points of his career in the heptathlon with a sixth-place finish…his personal-best 5,186 points ranks No. 3 all-time among Noles. Outdoors: Continued his multi-event progress by competing in 10 different events over seven meets, culminating with his fourth-place decathlon finish at the ACC Championships…earned second-team All-ACC honors after registering a personal-best total of 7,113 points; No. 5 all-time at FSU…despite difficult weather conditions at the Tennessee Relays, totaled 6,475 points for second-place finish in season decathlon debut…over the course of the season established new PBs in nine of 10 events: 100m (10.73), 110 hurdles (14.93), 1500m (5:04.65), high jump (1.99m/6-6.25), long jump 7.13m (23-4.5), shot put (12.87m/42-2.5), discus (38.08m/124-11), javelin (57.75m/189-5.5) and pole vault (4.05m/13-3.25).
Indoors: Placed 12th at the ACC Indoor Championships in the heptathlon (4,810), improving on his 4,793 from his hep debut at the Razorback Invitational…posted indoor PBs of 7.17 (60), 8.56 (60 hurdles) and 3:00.98 (1000) to go along with 1.87m (6-1.5) in high jump and 4.05 (13-3.5) in pole vault. Outdoors: Competed in two decathlons outdoors and five meets overall…finished 10th at ACC Championships in the decathlon with his personal-best (6,177) after scoring 5,979 in his decathlon debut at the Texas Relays…registered personal-bests of 11.01 (100), 52.65 (400), 5:21.35 (1500), 15.71 (110 hurdles) on the track…field event PBs established in the high jump (1.87m/6-1.50), pole vault (4.00/13-1.5), long jump (6.74/22-1.5), shot put (11.67/38-3.5), discus (33.15/108-9) and javelin (53.44/175-4).
