Indoor: Advanced to the ACC Indoor Championships 60-meter dash finals for the second consecutive year with a personal-best time of 6.71 in the prelims, where he was injured…jogged the final for the eighth-place point, which loomed large as the Noles tied host Virginia Tech for a share of the team title…ran 6.76 but narrowly missed joining the loaded final at the Texas Tech Classic…missed final by one position in the season-opening 60 at the Orange & Purple Elite. Outdoor: Competed in the 100 at the NCAA East Preliminary for the first time, placing 37th in the first round…recorded his collegiate-best 100-meter time (10.48) in the qualifying rounds at the ACC Outdoor Championships but was .08 seconds shy of reaching the final…recorded his second of three 100-meter PBs of the season at the Tom Jones Memorial (10.51) and also handled a leg on the runner-up 4×100 relay (39.14)…ran personal-best of 10.56 for eighth place at the Crimson Tide Invitational…provided first hint of improvement when he won the 100 at the FSU Relays in a windy 10.32, which was good enough to earn a spot in the NCAA East Field.
Indoor: Posted strong third-place 60-meter dash finish in his collegiate debut at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational (6.74)…also competed at the Razorback and Tyson Invitational meets…qualified fourth for the 60-meter dash finals at the ACC Championships and missed the 200-meter final by one spot after a PB of 21.30…posted personal-best 6.72 in the ACC 60-meter final, contributing to a 22-point event haul which helped propel the Noles to the title. Outdoor: Competed in eight meets, with the bulk of his work coming on the 4×100 relay…posted a PB 10.58 in the 100-meter dash at the Tom Jones Memorial…ran third leg on the ACC Outdoor runner-up 4×100…ran a strong third leg as the Noles posted a then-SB 39.12 to qualify third for the NCAA Championships at the NCAA East Preliminary meet…helped Noles reach the NCAA Championship finals in the 4×100 as they qualified third in 39.00; the No. 8 time in program history…claimed his first All-American honor as the Noles finished fifth in the final.
