Played in one match as a freshman (2017) with Julia Thompson at the No. 5 position… the pair defeated New Orleans duo of Brianna Vega/Samantha Uline in straight sets, 21-7, 21-15.

High School:

Four-year letterwinner for Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa … sustained an injury prior to the start of her senior year that forced her to miss the season  … served as a captain of the varsity volleyball team in 2015 … cracked the starting lineup as a freshman … went onto win capture two Iowa 5A state championships and pair of Iowa 5A state championship runner-ups … earned 5A Player of the Year honors as a junior … named to Frosh 59 list … bestowed first team All-District honors on three occasions … recognized as a first team All-Metro selection on three occasions.


Named to Under Armour All-American Watch List … member of the 2013 USA A1 National team (2013) … placed on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) phenom list in each of her four seasons (2012-15) … finished fifth at the USA Volleyball Beach Championships in 2014-15 … served as captain for the Iowa HP National Championship team in 2014 … participated in the USA Volleyball Beach Championships and Holiday Camps in both the 2014 and 2015 seasons … member of the Eastern Iowa Extreme club program which finished first in the Midwest Challenge. The Extreme Iowa club program also finished second in the Great Lakes Power League, third at the Show Me Qualifier and as a qualifier for the 18 Open Nationals Qualifier … participated with the Stars & Spikes club program as well where she led the team to a fifth place finish at USA Volleyball nationals while earning All-Tournament team honors.


Born on January 24, 1998… Daughter of Lori and Vern Pennington … Sports Management major … was a member of Future Business Leaders of America as well as Family, Career and Community Leaders of America while in high school.
