All-ACC Freshman Team (2019)
A consistent presence in the middle for the Seminoles, Clothier shined in her first season of collegiate volleyball, playing in all 29 matches and 105 sets, along with 27 starts…named to the All-ACC Freshman Team as she finished second on the team, fifth in the ACC and 46th in the NCAA with a 1.24 blocks per set average…she had the eighth-highest blocks per set average in the country among all freshmen and third among players from Power 5 schools…added 140 kills offensively at a .256 percentage, along with 20 digs, five service aces and three assists…combined for a .474 hitting percentage on opening weekend against No. 5 Wisconsin and No. 3 Minnesota, recording 11 kills with two errors on 19 attacks…recorded five blocks, including two solo, along with six kills in a win against FAU on September 6…posted a .556 hitting percentage with six kills in a road win at TCU on September 8…tallied six blocks, two solo, as well as four kills on September 14 against St. John’s…opened ACC play with four blocks and four kills on the road at Duke…set a career-high with 11 blocks against No. 4 Pitt on October 6, which tied for the sixth most in a match in FSU history, as well as was tied for the second-most in the NCAA this season in a four-set match against a ranked team…had 10 kills and six blocks on the road at North Carolina (October 13)…posted a .556 hitting percentage with six kills and four blocks at home against Boston College…registered seven blocks, two solo, and added five kills in a road win on October 27 at Clemson…tallied nine kills and three blocks at home versus Miami…had eight blocks, three service aces and three kills in a road sweep at Virginia Tech (November 1)…finished with eight blocks and six kills against Louisville on November 10…totaled 10 blocks, three solo, along with four kills at home on November 17 against North Carolina…closed out the regular season with eight blocks and four kills at Miami…recorded 10 kills and five blocks in the NCAA Tournament match against UCF on December 5.
Led the Hebron Hawks to three consecutive Texas High School State Championships from 2015 to 2017, and was most recently named an AVCA Under Armour All-American Honorable Mention and earned her third straight First Team All-District nod. In her senior season, Clothier was named a PrepVolleyball.com Senior Ace Top 100, finishing her high school career ranked No. 83 in the nation. She also brings a strong academic performance to the team, as she was named Academic All-District in 2015, 2016 and 2017, and All-State in 2018.
