Cross Country: Competed in the season-opening Covered Bridge Open, posting a 5k personal best (18:36.3). Indoor: Ran the mile (5:08.92) and the 4×400 in the Orange & Purple Elite season-opener…two weeks later competed in the 400 and 800 at the Bob Pollock Invitational…injury ended year. Outdoor: did not compete due to injury.
Cross Country: Ran abbreviated schedule while building base for track & field seasons…posted 5k XC PB (19:45.4) at the FSU Invitational; her first cross country race with the Noles…raced her first 6k at the Crimson Classic which produced a respectable 23:18.3 effort. Indoor: Lined up five times, focusing primarily on the 800…collegiate-best 2:08.70 at the ACC Championships left her one spot shy of the final (ninth)…opened the year in the mile at the Orange & Purple Invitational, placing fourth in the mile in a PB (5:06.17). Outdoor: Registered a season-best 800 in the Yellow Jacket Invitational opener (2:09.73) to finish third…posted a 1500m PB at the FSU Invitational (4:30.91)…was 15th in the 800 prelims at the ACC Championships (2:10.16); her fastest outdoor effort since the opener.
Cross Country: Spent fall training while sitting out a redshirt season…competed unattached at the FSU Invitational and ran 19:40.6 at FSU Invitational. Indoors: Lined up for five meets focusing on the 800 while competing in a pair of early mile races…ran SB 5:12.29 mile at the Bob Pollock Invitational…improved each time out in her four competitive 800 races, capped by her indoor SB 2:10.55 at the ACC Championships. Outdoors: Saw action in five meets before season was cut short by injury…posted SB 4:44.28 1500 at Yellow Jacket Invitational…much like the indoor campaign, improved in the 800 throughout the year…SB 2:10.32 came in her final meet at Stanford Cardinal Classic, where she was fourth…also contributed a strong leg to third-place 4×800 relay at the Tennessee Relays (8:49.63).
A three-time provincial champion at 800 meters and three-time runner-up at 1500 while competing for Leduc Composite High…won Canadian Youth National 800 title in 2014…placed ninth at the 2015 IAAF World Youth Championships representing Canada in Cali, Colombia…captured the 2016 Simplot Games 800 title during her senior indoor season…boasts outdoor personal-bests of 2:07.94 (800) and 4:35.30 (1500), to go along with indoor bests of 1:35.14 (600) and 2:58.82 (1000)…honor roll student throughout high school…majoring in family and child sciences…earned multiple ACC Academic Honor Roll honors…born June 26, 1998.
