PERFORMANCE PROFILE

Building on a solid freshman season she earned a season-long spot in the top seven, capped by a trip to the NCAA Championships…backed up her cross country success with marked improvement on the track, recording PBs over four distances…Noles’ depth will test her staying power in the lineup for the fall.

2017-18

Cross Country: Competed in four meets including travel squad appearances at the Covered Bridge Open and Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational…post collegiate-best 19:11.2 at the FSU Invitational for 5k and 22:45.9 6k at Virginia Tech. Indoor: Lined up for the mile in a pair of meets…set herself up for the outdoor season with a mile PB (5:08.97) at the Tyson Invitational, where she finished fourth in her section. Outdoor: Continued to show progress throughout the spring…established new PBs in each of her last three meets…ran 10:41.58 for the 3000 at the Tom Jones Memorial, placing eighth…was fifth in the 1500 at the North Florida Invitational (4:47.96)…capped first season at the Seminole Twilight where she ran 5000m in 18:02.41.

 

2018-19

Cross Country: Competed in all seven meets, through the postseason…turned in a strong showing at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, finishing 66th in 18:00.2…placed 70th as the No. 6 runner in her first ACC Championship meet…followed by placing 59th for the South Region champions in a 6k personal-best (21:52.2) and competed at the NCAA Championships. Indoor: made three trips to Clemson, producing PBs in each outing…finished with new personal-bests in the mile (5:00.62) and 3000 (9:54.49) at the Tiger Paw Invitational. Outdoor: saw action in five meets, adding two more PBs with major breakthroughs…whacked 16 seconds off her 2018 1500m-best when she ran 4:31.47 1500 at the FSU Relays…took 52 seconds off her previous 5000m PB when she ran 17:16. 31 at the Raleigh Relays.

 

Personal

Owns high school PBs of 2:13.98 (800), 5:01.03 (1600) and 10:48.46 (3200); all set as senior…big breakout came with 3200 PB and sixth-place finish at FSU Relays…placed third (3200), fourth (1600) and sixth (800) at the 3A state meet as both a junior and senior…won nine Pinellas County Athletic Conference titles over course of her career between cross country and track…also played varsity soccer as sophomore and junior…outstanding in the classroom where she was a four-year honor roll member, a member of the National Honor Society and earned AP Scholar Awards from 2015-17…majoring in exercise physiology…the daughter of Barb and Tim Lima…born Nov. 3, 1998.
