Cross Country: Finished 19th overall at the Mountain Dew Invitational (22:12.80)…finished 20th overall at the FSU Invitational (17:40.4)…finished 36th overall at the UAB Blazer Classic (21:20.32)….placed 53rd at the ACC Championships as the seventh runner for the Noles with a time of 21:22.9.
Cross Country: Put together her finest season to date, building off a strong summer on the track…opened up at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational with a 5k XC personal-best of 16:48.8 to place 22nd overall…followed that up with her first collegiate cross country victory at the Blazer Classic, winning the 6k race in 20:36.1…narrowly missed All-ACC honors with 23rd-place showing at conference meet (21:31.0), helping Noles to a runner-up finish…earned All-South Region honors for the third consecutive year with 12th-place finish on home course (20:35.4) as Noles won their second consecutive title…was FSU’s top finisher at the NCAA Championships, placing 62nd overall (21:01.5) to guide Noles to a 12th-place finish. Indoor: did not compete due to injury.
Cross Country: Competed in six meets, opening up at Mountain Dew Invitational with season-best seventh-place finish…helped Noles to a breakout third-place finish at Joe Piane Notre Drame Invitational…finished 31st at ACC Championships, aiding a fourth-place team finish…earned All-South Region honors for the second consecutive year, placing 24th as the Nole won the team title to secure first NCAA Championships berth since 2014. Indoor: scored her first individual collegiate win in the season-opening Orange & Purple Elite 3000 at Clemson…recorded indoor PBs in the mile (4:42.10) and 3000 (9:26.42) at the Bob Pollock Invitational…earned All-ACC honors with sixth-place finish in the mile for the runner-up Noles. Outdoor: enjoyed a breakout inaugural outdoor campaign for the Noles, eclipsing her personal-best in the 5000 four times by the end of the summer…ran 16:43.45 for the win at the FSU Relays and followed a week later with 1500 PB (4:21.87) at Florida Relays…came on strong in the postseason with a new 5000 PB at the ACC Championship (16:26.93), which followed her All-ACC sixth-place 1500 finish (PB 4:21.50) as the Noles won the team title…returned home to England during the summer and flourished…won the England Athletics U23 5000m title just a week after record a PB (16:04.56) at the BMC Grand Prix in Loughbrough…took PB to a new level at the European U23 Championships in Gavle, Sweden, placing sixth in 15:51.56 – No. 4 all-time among Seminoles.
Cross Country: Splashed on the scene as a major contributor and the Noles’ No. 2 runner…capped season with 10th-place finish at the NCAA South Region, narrowly missing individual qualifying trip to the NCAA Championships after posted 6k time of 20:20.1…that followed a solid 26th-place showing at the ACC Championships…recorded a pair of runner-up overall performances including her FSU debut at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational…was also second at the FSU Invitational…earned All-ACC Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors. Indoor: Saw action in four meets, building on her cross country success…contributed to the Noles’ ACC Indoor team title by placing seventh in the mile and anchoring the DMR to a fifth-place finish…ran personal-best 4:45.85 mile to qualify fourth for the final at ACCs…established a new personal-best in the 3000m (9:37.29) at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Outdoor: Was injured during a fall in practice which forced her to miss the entire season.
Comes to the U.S. off her finest track season where she established new PBs in the 800 (2:10.48), 1500 (4:24.36) and 5000 (16:59.74)…was the silver medalist among senior girls at the 2017 English Schools Cross Country Championships (4k)…extended her streak of Essex 3000 titles to six years…was runner-up at the English Schools Championships in the 1500 and followed that up another PB in the 800 at the Watford Open…competed in the 1500 at the British Athletics Championships…sister Jessica Judd has represented Great Britain internationally in track and cross country at the senior level…comes to FSU listing exploratory as her major…the daughter of Cheryl Collins and Mike Judd…born Sept. 25, 1998.
