In her second season as a Seminole after gaining valuable experience in both practices and in the one event she played in as a freshman in 2019…played in her first career match – the Evans Derby Experience – in the spring of 2019…one of the top players in the state of New York who has an incredible drive and the confidence to be successful at Florida State…ranked as high as No. 55 nationally in Class of 2018 on the Junior Golf Scoreboard…finished third in the stroke play portion of the USGA United States Girls Junior Championships in 2017…advanced to match play in the 2019 USGA Girls Junior Championship in 2019…finished sixth in the New York State Women’s Amateur Championship in 2018…named to the 2015 Teen World Cup Team as she earned the honor of finishing among the top two USA players at the World Championship…named to the Academic President’s List during the spring of 2019 with a perfect 4.0 GPA and to the Academic Dean’s List during the fall of 2018…named to the 2019 ACC Academic Honor Roll…averages 78.17 strokes in six rounds during two matches entering the spring of her sophomore season.

Made her Florida State career debut as she played as an individual in the Evans Derby Experience at Auburn University…totaled scores of 78-79-78 for a three round total of 235…finished in a tie for 74th place at the Evans Derby hosted by Auburn University…averaged 78.33 strokes in three rounds during one event.

SUMMER 2019

Advanced to match play in the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship at Sentryworld in Stevens Point, Wisc…played in the Florida Women’s Open at the Orchid Island Golf and Beach Club in Vero Beach, Fla…finished tied for 63rd in stroke play with scores of 74-76=150 and advanced as one of two golfers from a playoff for the final two spots in the match play portion of the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship…advanced to the round of 32 in match play with a 19-hole victory over No. 2 seed Maddison Hinson-Tolchard…won the 18th hole to tie and the 19th hole to win the match…fell, 3&2, to Brooke Seay Stanford in the round of 32 in match play…was in a tie for 76th place after the first round of the Florida Women’s Open with a score of 80…finished in a tie for 74th place at the Florida Women’s Open.

Fall 2019 (SEASON AVERAGE: 78.00 / LOW ROUND: 75)

In Florida State’s lineup for the season-opening Cougar Classic…carded a 79 in the first round of the Cougar Classic…a two-round total of 159 after 36 holes of the Cougar Classic…carded her career best score of 75 in the third round of the Cougar Classic to finish with scores of 79-80-75 for a total of 234…earned career best scores for a single round (75), a three round tournament (234) and a three round tournament vs. par (-18) at the Cougar Classic…averaged 78.00 strokes in three rounds during one tournament.

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE

Graduated from the Ursuline School in 2018…a member of the varsity team at Ursuline for six consecutive years (seventh grade through 12th grade)…helped lead her team to four consecutive state championship victories (2015-18)…won the New York high school Section 1 Championship in 2017…earned All-State honors in 2016 and 2017…received Coach’s award in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018…team MVP in 2015…team captain in 2017 and 2018…played in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Tournament six times…finished in third place in stroke play in the 2017 USGA Girls’ Junior Championship…the champion of the 2017 Metropolitan PGA Championship and the 2016 Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, where she set the tournament record for total scores, including her personal-best score of 67 in the second round…won the 2016 WMGA Junior open in 2015 and 2016…named to the 2016 and 2017 Women’s Metropolitan Intercity New York team…earned the 2016 Joseph J. Lann trophy for the lowest tournament round score of the year.

Born November 7, 2000…Caroline is the daughter of Christy and Russell Hodge…her sister, Alice, is an 12th grade student and outstanding golfer at Ursuline School…earned the Cardinal O’Connor scholarship – presented to the honors student for their outstanding character and service…a member of the National Honor Society and the Art Honor Society…earned scholar-athlete honors in each of her six seasons as a member of the Ursuline varsity team…named to the American Junior Golf Association Scholastic Honor Roll in 2016…a 2017 & 2018 WMGA Girls To The Tee volunteer…helped raised $5,000 for Prostate Cancer research in honor of her late grandfather, John Walter Hodge, Jr. …interested in videography and film production…major is Communications / Digital Media Production.
