Enjoyed a fabulous freshman season and will be one of the top underclassmen in collegiate golf in 2022…in Florida State’s lineup throughout the spring of 2021 and helped the Seminoles to unprecedented heights…the Seminoles were ranked No. 1 in the nation for two weeks, finished in a school-record ninth place in the NCAA Championship Finals, won the team title at the NCAA Louisville Regional Championship, finished as the runner-up in the ACC Championship and won three tournament championships during her first season in Tallahassee…played in all eight matches in the spring including the ACC Championship, the Louisville Regional Championship and the NCAA Championship Finals…helped Florida State win the team championships at the Florida State Match Up, the Pinetree Invitational and the NCAA Louisville Regional… the Seminoles’ team title at the NCAA Louisville Regional Championship was the first regional championship in the history of the Seminoles’ program…Florida State’s tied for ninth place finish in the NCAA Championship ranks as the highest NCAA Championships finish in school history…a very experienced player who has played in many high-profile events as a junior golfer…enjoyed a very successful high school career – a career which prepared her to compete right away as a true freshman at Florida State…named as the 2016-17 International Junior Golf Tour Player of the Year…represented the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association in the 19th Annual French-American Challenge in 2018…the biennial competition between the MGA/WMGA and the Ligue de Paris at Golf des Yvelines in 2018…the competition was won by the French squad by a 11.5-8.5 margin…earned Academic Dean’s List Honors during the fall of 2020 and the spring of 2021…named to the 2021 All-ACC Academic Women’s Golf Team…named to the 2021 ACC Academic Honor Roll…named to the 2021 WGCA All-American Scholar team…averages 74.24 strokes in 25 rounds during eight tournaments entering her sophomore year in 2021-22.

A member of the Seminoles’ lineup for the fall season ending Landfall Tradition at the Country Club of Wilmington (Oct. 29-31)..helped lead Florida State to the championship of the Inaugural Barbara Nicklaus Cup…played as a member of Florida State’s lineup at the season-opening Schooner Fall Classic…carded a 4 over par 74 and was in a tie for 43rd place in the individual standings after the first round of the Schooner…helped the Seminoles to a fourth place standing in the team placings after the first round…scores of 74-75 and a two-round total of 149 had her in a tie for 53rd place after two rounds of the Schooner…the Seminoles were in a tie for third place in the team standings after two rounds and 36 holes…tied her career low score with a 70 in the final round of the Schooner Fall Classic to finish in a tie for 40th place in the individual standings…totaled scores of 74-75-70 for a three round total of 219…was the low scorer for the Seminoles in the final round of the event…Florida State finished in a tie for fourth place in the team standings at the Schooner…a member of the Seminoles’ lineup at the Inaugural Barbara Nicklaus Cup at Muirfield Village in Ohio, October 4-5…helped Florida State to a 7-1 win over Auburn in the first match of the Barbara Nicklaus Cup with a win in the first day morning foursomes…teamed with Cole Anderson of the Seminole men’s team for a 3&2 victory over Auburn’s Alex Vogelsong and Megan Shofill, to give Florida State a 2-0 lead in the team competition…defeated Lauren Peter of Ohio State, 1UP, in the afternoon singles matches on day one of the Nicklaus Cup…her victory helped Florida State take a 6-1-1 win over Ohio State…played with Cole Anderson and fell in the mixed foursome match on the final day of the event to Rygs Johnston and Amanda Linner of Arizona State by a 1UP margin…Arizona State defeated the Seminoles by a 4-2-2 margin but the Seminoles won the team championship with a 2-1 record and 16.5 total points…totaled a 2-1 record with one win in singles and one in mixed foursome play in the Nicklaus Cup…career best score of 66 in the first round of the Jim West Challenge had her in third place…second round score of 68 in the second round gave her a 36-hole total of 134 — the best two round score of her career…she was in third place in the individual standings and the Seminoles were in third place in the team standings after two rounds of the event…finished in a tie for seventh place in the individual standings of the Jim West Challenge with scores of 66-68-74 for a career-best 208 total for the 54 hole tournament…helped the Seminoles to a fourth place finish in the team standings at the Jim West…

SUMMER 2021

Advanced to the match play round of 32 at the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship at Columbia Country Club in Maryland…finished with scores of 75-74=149 in the stroke play portion of the championship…defeated Laney Frye, 3&1, in the first round of match play before falling to Paula Miranda of Mexico, 1up, in the round of 32…carded her first career hole-in-one as she used a 6-iron on the 183-yard 8th hole to make the 22nd ace in history of the U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship on July 15, 2021…qualified for the U.S. Girls Junior Championship as she shot a 2 under par 70 to win her qualifier at Bonnie Briar Country Club in her hometown of Larchmont, N.Y (June 23)…finished in a tie for 26th place at the Inaugural Sea Island Women’s Amateur on the Seaside Course at the Sea Island (Ga.) Golf Club…in a tie for 41st place after the second round with total of 149…closed out her play in the event with a final round 68 and a 217 total to earn a top-30 finish.

 

 

SPRING 2021 (SEASON AVERAGE: 74.24 / LOW ROUND: 70)

Played in all eight events for the Seminoles in the first collegiate season of her career…helped lead Florida State to a ninth place finish in the NCAA Championship, the team title at the Louisville Regional Championship and to the runner-up position in the ACC Championship…earned her first career-top-10 finish at the spring 2021 Florida State Match-Up with a tied for 9th place finish…finished in a tie for 63rd place in the season-opening Moon Invitational…carded a first round score of 74 with three birdies in her first collegiate round at the Moon Invitational…a 73 in the second round of the Moon Invitational gave her a two round total of 147…finished with a three round total of 224 in the Moon Invitational…a member of the Seminoles’ starting lineup in the Florida State Match Up and in a tie for 6th place in the individual standings with a first round score of 72…her score included three birdies…helped lead the Seminoles into first place in the team standings after the first round of the Match Up…a 1-over par score of 73 in the second round of the Florida State Match Up gave her a two-round total of 145 and moved her into a tie for 4th place in the individual standings…finished the Florida State Match-Up in a tie for 9th place with scores of 72-73-77 for a three-round total of 6 over par 222…back to back scores of 72 for a total of 144 had her in a tie for 27th place at the Valspar Augusta Invitational after the first two rounds of the Valspar Augusta Invitational…finished in a tie for 23rd place at the Valspar Augusta Invitational with scores of 72-72-73 for a three round total of 1 over par 217…in a tie for first place with a career-low 2-under par 70 after the first round of the Pinetree Collegiate…a two round total of 147 had her in a tie for eighth place in the individual standings and put the Seminoles in first place in the team standings…finished in a tie for 15th place with a three round total of eight over par 224 at the Pinetree Invitational…tied for the team lead with a 75 in the first round of the LSU Tiger Classic…two round total of 149 after 36 holes of the LSU Tiger Classic had her in a tie for 29th place in the individual standings…finished in a tie for 50th place in the individual standings with scores of 75-74-79 and a three-round total of 228 at the LSU Tiger Classic…a member of the Seminoles’ lineup in the 2021 ACC Championship for the first time in her career…a total of 153 after the first two rounds of play had her in 39th place in the individual standings…finished in a tie for 32nd place in the individual standings of the 2021 ACC Championships with scores of 78-75-73 for a three-round total of 226…helped Florida State finish in third place in the team standings which advanced the Seminoles to the championship round (match play) of the tournament…Florida State advanced to play Wake Forest in the first semifinal of the ACC Championship on April 17…earned a well-played 4&3 win over Wake Forest’s Mimi Rhodes in the semifinals of match play at the ACC Championship…her win allowed the Seminoles to take a 4-1-0 win over the Demon Deacons and advanced the Seminoles to the championship match against Duke on April 18…fell 2UP to Erin Shepherd of Duke in the match play finals of the ACC Championship…Duke won the ACC Championship with a 5-0, victory over the Seminoles in the ACC Championship at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C…in a tie for 25th place in the individual standings with a first round score of 2 over par 74 in the 2021 NCAA Louisville Regional Championship at the University of Louisville Golf Course…Florida State was in first place in the team standings and the only team to finish under par in the team standings in the first round of play…back to back scores of 74 for a 148 total after 36 holes had her in a tie for 31st place after two rounds of the 2021 NCAA Louisville Regional Championship…Florida State was in first place in the team standings after the first two rounds and after 36 holes…finished in a tie for 32nd place in the individual standings of the 2021 NCAA Louisville Regional Championship…helped the Seminoles to the first regional championship in school history and third team championship of the 2021 spring season…in a tie for 52nd place in the individual standings with a score of 75 after the first round of the NCAA Division I Championship Finals at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz…the Seminoles were in 11th place in the team standings in the NCAA Championship Finals after the first round of play…carded the third rounds…totaled a career-low tying 70 in the second round for a two-round total of 145…Florida State was in fourth place in the team standings after the first two rounds of the NCAA Championship Finals…Florida State’s leading golfer after three rounds of the NCAA Championship Finals…totaled scores of 75-70-72 for a three round total of 217…she was in a tie for 13th place in the individual standings after three rounds of play…led the Seminoles into an eighth place standing after three rounds and into the pivotal fourth round of stroke play in the NCAA Finals…finished in a tie for 32nd place in the NCAA Championship Finals with scores of 75-70-72-76 for a 5 over par score of 293…was Florida State’s second highest finisher in the event…helped lead Florida State to a school-record best ninth place finish in the final standings of the 2021 NCAA Championship Finals — one stroke and one place out of sending the Seminoles to match play for the first time in school history…averaged 74.24 strokes in 25 rounds during eight events in her first season playing a full-time schedule for the Seminoles.

WINTER 2021

Finished in a tie for 41st place at the South Atlantic Women’s Amateur Championship (The Sally) at the Oceanside Golf Country Club in Ormond Beach, Fla. (January 6-9, 2021)…totaled scores of 73-75-85-77 for a four-round total of 310.

FALL 2020

Played in three events sponsored by the Golf Coaches Association of America as the ACC postponed all golf events for its’ 12 member golf playing schools…won the individual title (women only) and finished in a tie for 21st place (men and women combined) at the GCAA Event at Pinehurst with scores of 73-71-76 and a 4-over par total of 220…she was in a tie for 13th place in the individual standings after a first round score of 73 and in a tie for 10th place after 36 holes with a score of 144…finished in a tie for 2nd place (women only) and a tie for 24th place (men and women combined) in the GCAA Amateur at Johns Creek with scores of 74-74-74 for a three-round total of 222…she finished at six strokes over par…was never more than three strokes over par during any of the three rounds of the tournament…finished in a tie for second place at the Golfweek Sandestin Amateur with a 2 over par total of 215…totaled scores of 74-72-69 to finish as one of four players at 2 over par or better in the 30 player field…her score of 69 in the final round was tied for the best score of the final round of the championship.

SUMMER 2020

Finished in a tie for 12th place at the Carolinas Women’s Amateur Championship at the Bermuda Run Country Club in Advance, N.C. with scores of 72-83-75…was in first place in the standings after the first 18 holes of play…advanced to match play at the 118th North and South Women’s Amateur Championship at Pinehurst…finished in a tie for 22nd place in the stroke play portion of the event with score of 72-74…fell to Haylin Harris by a 4&2 margin in the match play round of 32…a final round score of 70 moved her into a tie for 26th place in the final standings at the 2020 Donna Andrews Invitational at the Boonsboro Country Club in Lynchburg, Va.

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE

Graduated from Ursuline Academy in 2020…earned All-League, All-Section, All-State and All-Federation honors as a junior in 2018…a member of the state championship team in each of her six varsity seasons at Ursuline (7th through 12th grades)…earned All-Area First Team Honors by the Rockland/Westchester Journal News as a junior in 2018…as a junior, she led the state section 1 in scoring differential during the regular season, finished as the runner-up at sectionals and in third place in the state championship tournament…also finished in third place in the individual standings in the state championship tournament as a sophomore in 2017…as an eighth-grade student at Ursuline, she finished in a tie for second place in the individual standings of the 2016 NYSPHSAA championship tournament at Bethpage Yellow in Farmingdale, N.Y. …her strong play led Ursuline to the state championship title…finished in third place in the individual standings in the NYSPHSAA championship as a junior in 2019…a second place finish in the 2018 Trusted Choice Big I National Championship with scores of 75-69-70-74 for a four-round total of 288…finished in a tie for second place in the 2018 Golf Performance Center Junior All-Star Championship (the third oldest golf championship in the United States) with scores of 73-74-73 for a three-round total of 220…finished in third place in the 2018 AJGA Junior All-Star Challenge presented by Explore New York and second in the 2018 Callaway Golf/Ollie Schniederjans Junior Classic.

PERSONAL

Born October 30, 2002…Alice is the daughter of Christy and Russell Hodge…sister, Caroline, was a member of the Florida State women’s golf team in 2019-20 and is currently a junior at Florida State…first career hole in one at the U.S. Girls Junior Championship at the Columbia Country Club in Maryland on July 15, 2021…qualified for and played in one of the biggest junior golf events in the world – the U.S. Kid’s Golf World Championship at Pinehurst while she was in the second grade…enjoys spending her free time with friends, family and her dog, Cooper…a member of the National Junior Honor Society and the National Honor Society throughout high school…received the Scholar Athlete Award each of her years in high school…volunteered at The Junior League of Westchester on the Sound’s second hand clothing store…the JLWS is an organization that helps to fund scholarships for women in the community…also volunteered at several Girls To The Tee clinics, which help get young girls interested in the game of golf…major is Finance.
