Led England to a fifth place finish in the team standings at the 2021 Spirit International Amateur Championship at Whispering Pines in Trinity, Texas (Nov. 4-6)…carded a score of 80 in the first round of the Spirit International and was in a tie for 33rd in the individual standings…England was in 16th place in the team standings after the first 18 of 54 holes were played in the event…carded a 69 in the second round and helped vault England into fifth place in the team standings with one round remaining to be play…was in a tie for 37th in the individual standings with a two-round total of 149…carded a team-leading 69 in the final round to finish with a three round total of 218…scored her final two rounds at 69 for a total of 138 over her final 36 holes to finish in a tie for 18th place in the individual standings…totaled four birdies and 17 holes at par or better in her final round of play.

Led England to the championship at the R&A Women’s Home Internationals at Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire, England…marked the second consecutive win in the event for England with Williamson as an important member of the team…helped England past Ireland, 6-3, in the championship match of the event with a 2-0 record on the final day of competition…helped England to an 8-1 victory over Wales in the first round of the Women’s Home International Championship…gained a 3&1 win over Beth Morris in singles play…in second round play against Scotland, Williamson and Hannah Screen halved their doubles match against Hannah Darling and Louise Duncan…Williamson then defeated Lorna McClymont in singles to help lead England to a 7.5-1.5 win…England defeated Ireland, 6-3, in the championship match…teamed with Hannah Screen to gain a 5&3 doubles victory over Sara Byrne and Julie McCarthy…the win by Williamson and Screen proved to be the championship clinching point for England…a 2&1 win over Beth Coulter in singles play…finished as a semifinalist at the English Amateur Championship…was in a tie for 24th place with a 2 over par score of 73 after round one of stroke play…finished in 23rd place in stroke play with scores of 73-77=150…defeated Mimi Rhodes, 2&1, in the match play round of 32…outdistanced Abigail Rowlands, 6&5, in the match play round of 16 to advance to the quarterfinals…earned a 2&1 victory over Davina Xahn in the quarterfinals…fell, 2up, in the semifinals to Bel Wardle on July 31…closed with three straight under par rounds (74-72-72-72) and earned a tied for third place finish in the final standings of the English Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Championship…finished with a four-round total of 290 (-6) and was 1 of 4 players in the event with 3 or more under par rounds…was in a tie first second place after a first round score of even par 74…a 2 under par score of 72 in the second round gave her a two-round total of 146 and had her in second place in the individual standings…a second consecutive under par score (-2, 72) in the third round established her score at -4/218 and set her in a tie for third place after three rounds…finished in seventh place at the 2021 Scottish Women’s Open with a 6 under par score of 210…was in a tie for 10th place after the first round with a 1 under par 71…par score of 72 in the second round and in a tie for 12th place in the individual standings with a 1 under par score of 143…moved into the top 10 in the final standings with a third round score of 5 under par 67 — the second best score of the third and final round of the Scottish Women’s Open…won the individual championship of the Pleasington Putter Open with a 6 under par score of 68…was the only player to shoot below 70 in the event…

Sedgefield Country Club…Duke defeated Florida State, 5-0, to win the 2021 ACC Championship…finished in a tie for 2nd place in the individual standings of the NCAA Louisville Regional Championship with scores of 68-72-73 for a three-round total of 213…helped Florida State win its first ever NCAA Regional Championship at Louisville…was in a tie for first place in the individual standings with a 3 under par score of 68 the first round…carded a career-high tying seven birdies in the first round of the regional…led the Seminoles into first place in the team standings after the first round of her second career regional championship…an par score of 72 in the second round of the regional championship at the University of Louisville Golf Club gave her a 140 total for 36 holes and had her in a tie for third place in the individual standings…Florida State was in first for the second consecutive round in the team standings…helped the Seminoles lead the event wire-to-wire…finished in a tie for 53rd place in the individual standings in the NCAA Division I Championship Finals with scores of 75-73-75-75 for a four-round total of 10 over par 298…helped lead Florida State to a school-record best ninth place finish in the final standings of the 2021 NCAA Championship Finals — one stroke and one place out of sending the Seminoles to match play for the first time in school history…in a tie for 52nd place in the individual standings with a score of 75 after the first round of the championship finals at the  Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona…the Seminoles were in 11th place in the team standings after the first round of play…a second round score of 73 and a two-round total of 148 had her in a tie for 40th place in the individual standings and gave the Seminoles a fourth place standing in the team race after two rounds of play…helped lead Florida State into the pivotal fourth round of stroke as she totaled scores of 75-73-75 for a three-round total of 223…averaged 73.08 strokes in 25 rounds during eight events.

SUMMER 2020

Won the Royal Comer Club Championship with scores of 3 under par 71 and 7 under par 67 with her 67 ranking as the new course record…her total of 138 in her two rounds played allowed her to win the event by 18 strokes…advanced to the quarterfinals at the English Women’s Match Play Championship…fell in the Round of 8 to Emily Price, who won the championship…Price is currently a junior at Kent State…set the course record for a single round with a score of 69 (-6) at the Hunstanton Golf Club…played her back nine with a score of 30 (-7) to establish the new course…finished in a tie for sixth place at the English Women’s Strokeplay Championship with scores of 68-71-75-75 to finish with a four-round total of 289…she finished just seven strokes out of the individual lead…played in the British Women’s Amateur at the West Lancashire Golf Club which is located on the northwest coast of England…a 76 in the first round had her in a tie for 48th place…fell in the match play round of 32 in the British Women’s Amateur to Annabell Fuller by a 2 & 1 margin.

SPRING 2020 (SEASON AVERAGE: 78.33 / LOW ROUND: 74)

A member of Florida State’s line-up in each of the Seminoles’ three events during their shortened season – the IJGA Guadalajara Collegiate Invitational, the Florida State Match Up and the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate…helped the Seminoles to two top-five team finishes at the IJGA Guadalajara Invitational and in the Florida State Match-Up…finished in a tie for 44th place in the individual standings with scores of 74-74-77 for a three round total of 225 at the IJGA Guadalajara Collegiate Invitational…helped Florida State finish in a tie for 5th place in the team standings at the Guadalajara Collegiate Invitational…earned a score of 74 and was in a tie for 31st after the first round of the event…a second round score of 74 gave her a two-round total of 148 and put her in a tie for 37th place…finished in a tie for 33rd place in the Florida State Match-Up with scores of 80-75-81 and a three-round total of 236…helped Florida State to a second place finish in the team standings at the Match Up…scores of 80-75 for a 155 two-round total on the first day of the Florida State Match Up and was in a tie for 21st place heading into the final round of the event hosted by the Seminoles…finished in 85th place in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate…averaged 78.33 strokes in nine rounds during three events.

SPRING 2020 VS. VIRGINIA

Won both of her matches as Florida State defeated Virginia, 7.5-1.5, in an early season dual match against the Cavaliers played at the Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City, Fla…won her morning match as she teamed with Puk Lyng Thomsen by a 2-up score over Virginia’s Beth Lillie and Riley Smyth…earned a point for the Seminoles in her afternoon head-to-head match-up, 2&1 over Lillie.

 

FALL 2019 (SEASON AVERAGE: 72.82 / LOW ROUND: 68)

Played in all four fall events for the Seminoles…was one of two Florida State players (also Beatrice Wallin) who played in all four events during the 2019 fall season…totaled four of 12 rounds played at par or better and eight of 12 rounds played with scores of 75 or better…season-low score of 68 came in the second round of the Jim West Challenge…in Florida State’s lineup for the season-opening Cougar Classic…finished with a three round total of 226 with scores of 73-77-76 to finish in a tie for 71st place finish in the Cougar Classic…a two round total of 150 had the Seminoles in fourth place in the team standings…a 69 in the third round of the Schooner Fall Classic helped her finish with a 216 score and in a tie for 34th place in the individual standings…a first round score of 76 had the Seminoles in fifth place in the team standings after the first 18 holes…a 71 in the second round of the Schooner Fall Classic gave her a 149 and moved her into a tie for 49th place…finished in a tie for 22nd place in the Jim West Challenge with scores of 72-68-73 and a 3 under par total of 213…marked the second under par tournament score of her Florida State career…her 3 under par total at the Jim West Challenge is tied for her career best tournament score vs. par…carded an even par 72 in the first round of the Jim West Challenge and was in a tie for 45th place in individual standings after the first round…a season-low 68 in the second round and was in a team-leading tie for 21st place after two rounds with a total of 140…finished in a tie for 39th place in the individual standings with scores of 74-72-76 for a three round total of 6 over par 222 at the Landfall Tradition…a 2 over par score of 70 and in a tie for 40th place after the first round…a two round total of 146 with scores of 74-72 had her in a tie for 25th place in the individual standings after 36 holes at the Landfall Tradition…averaged 73.08 strokes in 12 rounds during four events.

SPRING 2019 (SEASON AVERAGE: 75.95 / LOW ROUND: 67)

Helped lead Florida State to a second place finish in the ACC Championship and the NCAA Auburn Regional Championship and a 12th place finish in the NCAA Championship Finals…a member of Florida State’s lineup in each of the Seminoles’ seven events of the spring season…totaled a 234 in the three rounds of the Northrop Grumman to finish in a tie for 69th place in the individual standings…played her best golf at the Northrop Grumman over the final two holes with scores of 74-75…helped the Seminoles to the team championship in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate with a tied for 41st place finish…scores of 71-72 in the second and third rounds helped her improve her standing…carded a 71 in the second round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate…her second round score in the Darius Rucker helped Florida State move into first place in the team standings after two rounds of play…finished in a tie for 56th place in the individual standings at the Evans Derby Experience…helped the Seminoles to the team championship at the Evans Derby Experience…carded a tournament-best 74 in the third round of the Evans Derby to help the Seminoles to the team championship — its second of the season…finished in tie for 57th place in the final individual standings of the Clemson Invitational…a 73 in the first round of the Clemson Invitational as she was in the Seminoles’ lineup for the fourth consecutive event of the spring season…a 75 in the second round gave her a 148 two-round total…the Clemson Invitational was shortened to two rounds because of rain that canceled the third and final round of the event…finished in a tie for 20th place in the individual standings of the ACC Championship…totaled a 2 over par 74 in the second round for a 156 total for the first 36 holes…carded a career-best 67 in the third round of the ACC Championship to finish with a 7 over par score of 223…her score of 67 included a career-best for a single round seven birdies…made her first career regional championship appearance as she was in the Seminoles’ lineup for the 2019 NCAA Auburn Regional Championship…a 3 over par score of 75 had her in a tie for 34th place after the first round of the regional championship…an even par score of 72 and a 36-hole total of 147 in the Auburn Regional Championship…finished in a tie for 23rd place in the individual standings to help the Seminoles to a second place finish in the NCAA Auburn Regional Championship…carded an even par 72 in the final round to finish with a 220 total…helped Florida State reach its school-record fourth consecutive NCAA Championship Finals event…carded scores of 84-79-77 for a three round total of 240 in the NCAA Championship Finals…the event was cut from four rounds of stroke play to three because of weather…helped the Seminoles finish in 12th place in the team standings in the NCAA Championship Finals — only the third time in school history the Seminoles finished in the top-12 of the team standings at the National Championship Finals…averaged 75.95 strokes in 20 rounds during seven events.

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE

Graduated from the Norwich School for Girls in 2018, after attending for seven years including two years at sixth form…she earned the Academic Endeavor Award at Norwich High School for girls in 2015 and 2017…named the Sports Personality of the Year at the 2018 Norwich High School for Girls annual sports awards as well as earning the award for Best in School Sports Achievement in 2015, 2016 and 2018…the English U18 Schools Golf Champion in 2015, 2016 and 2017, the National U16 Schools Golf Champion in 2015, the South East England Schools Championship in 2015 and 2018, all in addition to serving as the English Schools Golf International team captain in 2016 and 2017.

PERSONAL

Born June 23, 2000…Amelia is the daughter of Tracey and Mark Williamson…her dad was the most successful team captain of the Norfolk Men’s Golf team and played for nearly 30 years as a former scratch golfer still playing off a one handicap now…Tracey, her mum, is an accomplished scratch golfer and is the multiple winner of the Norfolk County golf championships, in addition to seven second place finishes…her home golf course is Royal Cromer…Amelia and Tracey paired together to win the Royal Mid Surrey Mothers and Daughters’, a 27-hole foursomes competition in 2016, 2017 and 2018…a member of the British record holding team for the fastest 100,000 meter rowing time as well as being an avid skier who has participated in the sport since age three…enjoys cooking…selected Florida State over Vanderbilt…major is Sport Management.
