Placed ninth in the 200 breast (2:18.25), seventh in the 200 IM (2:04.43) and ninth in the 100 breast (1:04.27) at the Auburn Invite…  swam in the 200 IM (2:11.79) and 100 breast (1:08.41) against UIW…competed in the 200 IM (2:11.46) 100 breast (1:06.33) and 200 breast (2:24.97) vs. Arizona State…raced in the 200 IM (2:09.42) 100 breast (1:06.84) and 200 breast (2:26.05) vs. No. 10 UF…finished fifth in the 200 breast (2:26.07) and competed in the 100 fly (58.39) at the quad meet…competed in the 200 breast (2:26.08) in the opener vs. Pitt and Georgia Tech.

High School

A three-time FHSAA 1A state finalist, Baker won bronze at the 2017 meet with a time of 1:05.01 after taking silver in 2016 at 1:04.92. Baker swam personal bests at the Florida Swimmer Senior Championships in the 100 and 200 breast where she placed second in both races. She was also the champion in the 50 breast with a time of 29.61. Baker competed at the Speedo Winter Junior Nationals – East.

Personal: Born May 12, 2000…daughter of Archie and Stephanie Baker…swam for the Bolles School Sharks…also played basketball and soccer…was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American…was a member of the National Latin Honor Society and a regular volunteer of the North Florida School of Special Education…was a captain for Relay for Life
