Took bronze in the 50 free at the GT invite at 22.53…placed seventh in the 100 fly (53.87) after swimming a personal best in prelims at 53.78…also competed in the 200 free (1:48.53) prelims and took 10th in the 100 free (49.75) after posting a best time in prelims at 49.12…also competed in all five relays…won the 50 free (23.26) and 100 free (50.03) before anchoring the 400 free relay to a victory in the win over Arizona State…was also second in the 200 free (1:50.05)…took fourth (1:50.09) in the 200 free, third in the 50 free (23.33) and second in the 100 free (50.42) vs. No. 10 UF before anchoring the Noles to a win in the 200 free relay…finished second in the 200 free (1:50.00) and 50 free (23.24) before winning the 100 free (50.44) in the win over No. 13 Minnesota…also anchored the winning 200 free relay at the meet…took second in the 100 free (51.12) and won the 50 free (23.70) before helping the Noles win the 400 free relay at the tri-meet vs. Pitt and GT.
A six-time LCM and nine-time SCM Estonia swimming champion, Ly Alnek also is a part of four national relay records. Alnek has regularly represented her country at the international level. She is a five-time semi-finalist at the European Junior Championships between 2014-16.
