Placed ninth in the 100 back (56.74), 10th in the 50 free (23.40) and 13th in the 100 free (51.88) at the Auburn Invite…finished third in the 50 free (24.79) against UIW…competed in the 100 free (52.09), 50 free (23.71), 200 free (1:55.49) and 100 back (57.52) at the GT Invite…contributed points on the 200 free relay that placed third (23.22) in the win at No. 13 Minnesota…helped the Noles win the 200 medley relay by posting a split of 27.16 in the backstroke leg at the quad meet…also competed in the 200 free (1:59.74) and fly (1:00.15)…represented the Cayman Islands at the FINA World Championships in the 50m free (27.26), 100m free (59.57) and 4×100 mixed relay (59.74)…also competed at the Pan American Games in the 100m free, (1:01.31), 50m free (27.13).


High School

Represented the Cayman Islands at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Hew also competed at the 2016 FINA World Short Course Championships. While representing St. Andrew’s, Hew placed fourth in the 50 free (23.24) at the FHSAA 1A State Championships and sixth in the 100 back (56.01) after winning bronze in the 100 back (55.29) and placing sixth in the 100 free (51.23) in 2016. She was a NISCA All-American in 2016 and was also tabbed as a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.

Personal: Born September 26, 1999…Daughter of Richard and Sandy Hew…swam for Saint Andrews Aquatics coached by Sid Cassidy…also played water polo.
