Was just off her career best swim in the 1650 free at the ACC Championships where she placed 12th at 16:33.17…also competed in the 500 free (4:51.08) and 200 free (1:52.05)…contributed third place points against FAU in the 200 free (1:53.64)…placed third in the 1650 free (17:13.72) and fourth in the 500 free (5:04.58) in the win over No. 23 Alabama and Miami…finished in 12th place in the 1650 free with a time of 16:45.67 at the GT Invite…also competed in the 500 free (4:56.00) and 200 free (1:53.75)…finished fourth in the 1000 free (10:18.03) in victories over GT and Pitt…placed fifth in the 1000 free (10:22.46) in the win over Arizona State…competed in the 1000 free (10:21.82) and 500 free (5:07.62) vs. No. 10 Florida…won the 1000 free (10:23.15) at the quad meet.

High School

A local distance standout, Holmes is a six-time FHSAA 3A state finalist during her career at Chiles. In 2017 she won silver in the 200 free (1:51.27) and finished fifth in the 500 free (4:56.48). She captured silver in both the 200 free (1:50.40) and 500 free (4:49.63) in 2016 after winning bronze in the 500 free (4:53.96) and placing fourth in the 200 free (1:52.27) as a sophomore. Holmes produced her fastest mile time at the 2016 Speedo East Winter Junior Nationals where she finished ninth with a time of 16:33.10 after placing eighth in 2015. She is also a two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and an NISCA All-American. She is also a two-time Tallahassee Democrat All-Big Bend Co-Swimmer of the Year.

Personal: Born July 3, 2000…daughter of Steve and Susie Holmes…swam for the Area Tallahassee Aquatic Club coached by Terry Maul.
