A bronze medalist in the 200m fly at the inaugural European Games in 2015, Bonecz added an eighth place finish later that summer in the 200m fly at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships. She repeated that accomplishment in 2017 when the meet was hosted in Indianapolis, Ind. In 2016, she placed fifth at the Arena European Junior Swimming Championships.
Personal: Born April 9, 2000…daughter of Tamás Bonecz and Anikó Boneczné Bakó…swam for the Szeged Swim Club coached by Gabor Gellert and Zsolt Taczi.
