Qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 400 IM…swam the third fastest time in school history in the 400 IM at the ACC Championships at 4:10.36 in order to win the consolation heat…also competed in the 200 IM and 200 breast…won the 200 breast (2:21.16) against Miami and FAU…took third in the 200 breast (2:17.33) and was the runner-up behind her teammate Nina Kucheran in the 200 IM (2:03.53) vs. LSU…was third in the 200 IM (2:04.64) and second in the 200 breast (2:18.78) against No. 17 Alabama…placed seventh in the 400 IM (4:16.96) and finished 22nd in the 200 IM (2:00.91) at the GT Invite…was also 12th in the 200 breast at 2:14.35…finished in fifth place in the 200 fly (2:09.28) before winning the 200 IM (2:08.80) at the quad meet…competed in the 200 IM (2:07.24) 100 breast (1:06.54) and finished third in the 200 breast (2:22.18) at No. 1 Florida…competed in the 200 fly (2:09.21) before placing fifth in the 200 breast (2:22.58) and 200 IM (2:07.03) in the win over Georgia Tech…took third in the 200 breast (2:18.17) before winning the 400 IM (4:21.92) in the upset over No. 18 Minnesota…competed in the 100 breast (1:05.88) and took fourth in the 200 breast (2:18.29) and third in the 200 IM (2:03.94) against No. 22 Duke…swam in the 200 IM (2:06.03) 100 breast (1:06.22) and 200 breast (2:20.28) to start the season at No. 16 Notre Dame…competed at the 2019 Toyota US Open in the 200m IM (2:21.95), 200m breast (2:40.79) and earned a second swim in the 400m IM (5:00.34)…voted as FSU’s Rookie of the Year

High School

High School: A four-time All-State selection in Illinois…silver medalist in the 200 IM (2:01.49) at the IHSA State Championship in 2018…the senior champ in the 200 IM (2:02.07) in 2019 400m IM (4:59.52) in 2018…won the 400m IM (4:53.53) at the ISCA TYR Summer Senior Champs and also took second in the 200m IM (2:18.62) and fourth in both the 100m breast (1:51.29) and 200m breast (2:40.36)…won bronze at the NCSA Junior Championships in March of 2019 in the 400 IM (4:12.68).

Personal: Born Dec. 13, 2000…daughter of Rob and Vicki VanOvermeiren…was named as scholar athlete her freshman and senior years…made the honor roll three times…a member of the Academy Bullets where she is coached by Todd Capen.
