Completed her stellar Seminole career with her first All-America honors by advancing to the NCAA Championships quarterfinals for doubles with Andrea Garcia…recorded double-digit singles wins for the fifth straight season…eighth in FSU history for career wins with 166…moved into the top 10 for career victories in both singles and doubles…joined with Garcia to move into fifth place for all-time wins by a doubles team with 36…ended the season ranked No. 11 in doubles…set a personal career-high for single-season wins in dual matches (13) and tied her mark for wins in a season in dual matches in doubles (15)…had the best dual season of her career in doubles posting a 15-5 record…won five doubles matches versus ranked opponents.

Named as the ITA Southeast Region Most Improved Senior in 2020..helped lead Florida State to a No. 2 national ranking – the highest national ranking in school history…was Florida State’s primary player on court No. 3…earned a 10-4 record in singles play and a 6-4 record in doubles play in Florida State’s shortened season due to the COVID-19 Pandemic…earned four wins over top-100 ranked players in singles play including No. 47 Rosie Johnson of Virginia (6-3, 6-2) in the Seminoles’ victory over the No. 10 ranked Cavaliers in Charlottesville, No. 88 Katarina Kopcalic (6-3, 6-4) of No. 14 Washington and No. 103 Satsuki Takamura (6-4, 6-3) of Hawaii in Hawaii and No. 93 Gia Cohen (6-3, 6-4) of No. 22 Georgia Tech in Tallahassee…earned singles victories over her opponents from No. 5 Ohio State, No. 7 Texas, No. 14 Washington, No. 15 UCF and No. 22 Georgia Tech…unbeaten in her first 11 singles matches of the spring season…a primary member of the Seminoles’ No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams with Andrea Garcia…earned a 1-1 record in the No. 1 doubles position with a win over Florida A&M…totaled a 4-3 record with wins over Cal Santa Barbara, No 15 UCF, No. 7 Texas and Air Force at the No. 2 doubles position…1-0 at the No. 3 doubles position with a victory over No. 10 Virginia.
Earned an 8-3 record in singles play and an 11-2 record in doubles play during fall tournament action…paired primarily with Andrea Garcia in doubles play…won the flight seven championship match in singles with a victory over Tenika McGiffin of Tennessee (7-6 (0), 6-4) to earn the first fall season singles title of her career at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic at Furman University…won each of her final six doubles matches of the fall (three with Andrea Garcia and three with Emmanuelle Salas)…concluded singles tournament play in the Women’s Collegiate Invitational at Pepperdine University with a victory over San Diego’s Katharina Kukaras (4-6, 6-1, 6-1)…finished doubles play at Pepperdine with a 2-1 record…capped off her last fall season as a Seminole with an impressive 6-1, 6-0 victory over Clemson’s Mackenzy Middlebrooks to win a singles title at the Florida State hosted Seminole All-Conference Showdown…also played well in doubles at the Seminole All-Conference Showdown as she paired with Garcia to win a consolation bracket championship in doubles.
Capped off the season with a 10-6 singles record and a 5-0 doubles record…won her first seven matches of the season…earned her first two career ranked wins in back to back matches… took down No. 43 Victoria Emma 6-1, 7-6 of Florida in Gainesville to help Florida State defeat the Gators for the third straight match… backed that up with a 7-5, 3-6, 6-4 win over Duke’s 108th ranked Kaitlyn McCarthy on court four… earned her first career ranking in the ITA Singles rankings at No. 109 in March of 2019.
Ended the fall with the second-best singles record on the team (7-4) and fourth most doubles wins (6-4) …opened the fall with a Flight 6 singles back draw championship at the Debbie Southern Fall Classic hosted by Furman…had an impressive doubles run at the ITA All-American Championships with partner Ariana Rahmanparast…the Seminole Duo won three straight matches in pre-qualifying to advance to the qualifying draw…finished off the fall with a singles Flight D championship at home during the Seminole All-Conference Showdown.
Clinched the doubles point with partner Gabby Castaneda in her first doubles match of the spring against No. 3 Florida in the College MatchDay event held at the USTA National Center, live on the tennis channel )…A doubles match victory over Florida Atlantic (6-3) on court three in doubles with partner Gabby Castaneda …went 1-0 in both singles and doubles during Military Appreciation weekend in Tallahassee…won her doubles match (6-1) against Air Force on court three and her singles match (6-3, 6-4) on court two against Georgia Southern… won her first two ACC matches against No. 31 Clemson and Pittsburgh in straight sets on court three…defeated NC State on court three in three sets (4-6, 6-3, 6-3)…defeated Boston College on court three (6-3, 6-1)…helped Florida State secure a 7-0 win against Virginia Tech with a victory (6-0, 7-5) on court four…defeated Notre Dame’s Zoe Spence (1-6, 6-2, 10-6) to give the Noles a 5-1 lead over the Irish…won (7-6, 6-2) on court three against Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament second round…won her match in the second round of the NCAA Tournament against Florida on court three after her opponent medically defaulted, that match tied the dual score at three.
Finished the fall season 5-5 in singles and 8-5 in doubles…went 1-2 in singles at the Furman Fall Classic with a win over Janina Braun of Mississippi State (6-3, 3-6, 6-4)…earned seventh place with partner Ariana Rahmanparast in doubles at the Furman Fall Classic…earned a 2-2 doubles record at the Northwestern Wildcat Invitational, and a 3-0 singles record including a Red Flight championship…defeated Aslina Chua of Michigan State (7-5, 6-0) in the finals…won one match in singles at the ITA Southeast regional, defeated Lucia Montano of North Florida (6-2, 6-0)…made it to doubles quarterfinals at the Southeast regional with a win (8-7 (8)) win UCF in the first round and an 8-5 win Georgia State in the second round…made it to the Garnet bracket finals at the FSU All-Conference Showdown by winning two three-set matches…partnered with Gabby Castaneda to win the Garnet doubles bracket…the pair defeated Troy (8-7 (6)) in the finals.
Established herself as a force at the top of the lineup for the Seminoles in her first collegiate spring, playing at court two singles and doubles…recorded 10 singles wins on the year…in the NCAA Championship, defeated Sammi Hampton of No. 26 Arizona State’s for her first win over a ranked opponent to help the Seminoles upset the Sun Devils and advance…faced nine ITA-ranked opponents throughout the year, gaining valuable experience near the top of the lineup…in conference, earned wins against No. 26 NC State, at Louisville and at Boston College…in doubles with Ariana Rahmanparast, she led FSU to school-record 20 team doubles points…won six straight matches in the month of February including wins at No. 11 Georgia Tech where she helped defeat Virginia Tech (6-4)…went on four-match win streak entering the postseason, with wins over Virginia Tech, No. 42 Virginia and No. 5 North Carolina in the ACC tournament and against No. 26 Arizona State in the NCAA Championship.
Enrolled for the fall season and got off to a strong start, posting a 7-3 singles record, 6-2 in doubles…won one match each at the Furman Classic and Bedford Cup and two at the ITA Southeast Regional Championship…dropped just one set and earned three wins in winning the “Seminole” flight championship in the All-Conference Showdown in November…won four matches with spring doubles partner Ariana Rahmanparast and two with fellow freshman Andrea Garcia.
Graduated from IMG Academy in 2017…attended IMG Academy six years after being one of five chosen to attend the India Reliance Program…moved to the United States at age 11…earned a singles championship in Cabo Roji, Puerto Rico in September of 2016…also won the Copa Mundo Maya in Ciudad de Guatemala, Guatemala in June 2013…in her first career ITF event, in April 2013, she won seven matches, coming through the qualifying rounds to reach the finals at the age of 14.
Born December 18, 1998…Nandini daughter of Jayant and Minati Das…the youngest of two children with an older brother…mother Minati was a track and field athlete for the national team of India…says her mother is her biggest inspiration…aspires to play professional tennis…majoring in Business Management (Marketing and Management) with a minor in Business Analytics.
