Spring 2021

Had another stellar season in 2021…posted 15 wins in singles play and won nine straight singles matches to end the year…FSU posted an 8-1 record during her nine-match win streak…also moved into the No. 1 doubles spot during the second half of the season and won 7 of her last 10 matches pairing with Emmanuelle Salas…finished the season with the third-most wins on the team in singles and the third-most singles wins in duals…posted a perfect 10-0 record on court five in singles…clinched one of FSU’s biggest wins in 2021 versus No. 8 Virginia in a 3-3 match…paired with Petra Hule and Salas to defeat four Top 26 doubles teams…joined with Hule to knock off the nation’s 26th-ranked pair from Florida…Allen and Salas recorded wins over the nation’s 19th-ranked pair (Notre Dame), defeated Miami’s top doubles team twice, once when they were ranked 19th and the next time when they were ranked 24th, and also knocked off the No. 20 pair from Texas A&M in the Sweet 16…Allen and Salas also recorded another ranked win in the NCAA Tournament beating Auburn’s No. 69 pair.

SPRING 2020

An ITA All-American in doubles play with Petra Hule…Allen and Hule were ranked as the No. 11 doubles duo in the nation when the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 Pandemic…Allen and Hule were 12-4 as doubles partners in the spring of 2020…finished the season with a 14-match unbeaten streak in singles play from January 25 through March 8, 2020…was 13-1 in spring season singles matches with a 4-0 record in ACC play with wins over opponents from Miami, North Carolina, Clemson and Virginia…she won each of her final nine singles matches of the season…in winning her final nine matches of the season, she lost only three sets in a 28-day span…her unbeaten streak in singles included two matches that were not completed at DNF’s…earned victories over No. 39 ranked Alle Sanford of North Carolina (6-1, 5-7, 6-4) and No. 54 Irina Cantos Siemers of Ohio State (6-4, 6-4)…earned a 13-4 dual match doubles record including a 4-0 doubles record in ACC play as she teamed up with Hule to form one of the most formidable doubles partnerships in the ACC in 2020…partnered with Hule (7-0) and Sasha Hill (1-0) to win her final eight doubles matches of the year…finished 4-0 in ACC play with wins over Miami, North Carolina, Clemson and Virginia…defeated No. 4 ranked Sara Daavettila and Alexa Graham of North Carolina by a 6-3 score in a narrow 4-3 loss to the Tar Heels who were ranked No. 1 nation.

FALL 2019

Teamed with Emmanuelle Salas to earn an 8-4 doubles record in tournament play…Allen and Salas were ranked No 38 in the ITA doubles rankings at the conclusion of the fall season…won a season-high five consecutive matches from September 21 through October 10 with wins over Tennessee, Missouri, Princeton, Louisiana State and Wake Forest…earned victories over No. 24 ranked Tenika McGiffin and Kaitlin Staines of Tennessee and No 23 ranked Mary Caroline Meredith and Eliza Omirou of Wake Forest…Allen and Salas advanced to the semifinals of doubles play in the ITA Southeast Regional Championship in Tallahassee.

BEFORE FLORIDA STATE

Graduated from Chesterfield College High School in 2019…reached the round of 16 at the Australian Junior Open Championship in 2019..played for Great Britain at the 12U European Summer Cup (2013) and the 14U and 16U Winter Cup (2015 and 2017)… also played for Great Britain in the Maureen Connolly Cup against the United States in 2018… played for England in the Four Nations Tournament (2017) and won the 18U group and overall tournament. In 2015 and 2016 Allen was the doubles national champion in her country, in 2015 she was also a singles finalist…was a doubles quarterfinalist at Junior Wimbledon in 2018 and earned a top-100 junior ITF ranking this past year…also played in the Junior Wimbledon prequalifying draw 2019.

PERSONAL

Born February 26, 2001…Vic is the daughter of Anne and John Allen…her parents are both animal nutritionists…has two sisters, Sarah and Kate…also participated in equestrian as a junior…would like to be a professional tennis player when she completes her Florida State career…majoring in Sport Management.
