Third-year Nole from Australia was a force on the course and the track in 2018-19…development last season as the No. 3 runner was instrumental in getting FSU back to the NCAA Championships…posted PBs in four track events and is on the cusp of joining FSU’s all-time best performers.



Cross Country: Continued her ascent as an elite cross country runner, earning All-ACC and All-South Region honors…was top FSU finisher twice and among top three in six meets…third overall and second on team at Covered Bridge…led the way at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, placing 17th overall in a 5k-best time of 16:41.6…was 36th at Under Armour Pre-Nationals (20:44.9)…placed career-best 10th at ACC Championships (21:04.6), earning All-ACC honors for the first time…paced Noles to their second consecutive NCAA South Region title, finishing fourth overall on FSU’s home course in a 6k-best time of 20:21.8…came on strong late to finish 69th at the NCAA Championship meet – second on the team – as the Noles finished 12th.



Cross Country: Came into her own in year two, consistently finishing among the Noles’ top three…set bar with third-place finish at Covered Bridge Open (17:29.5); nearly a minute faster than previous season…was 27th overall at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational, helping team to third-place finish in breakout performance…followed up 34th-place ACC Championships finish by placing 11th at NCAA South Region, earning All-Region honors as the Noles rallied late for the team title and their first NCAA Championships appearance since 2014…was FSU’s No. 2 finisher at the NCAA Championships. Indoor: a banner campaign included PBs in the 3000 (9:27.48) and mile (4:40.17) during the regular season…flourished at the ACC Indoor Championships, leading off the runner-up DMR then placing fourth in the mile for All-ACC honors.  Outdoor: strong season included 800-1500 title sweeps at the FSU Relays and Crimson Tide Invitational…her 2:06.27 800 at FSU Relays ranks No. 11 all-time among Noles…enjoyed a breakthrough 1500m PB at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4:16.12), which is also one spot outside school’s top-10 list…major contributor to the ACC Outdoor team title, placing third in the 1500 and seventh in the 800…advanced to the second round of the 1500 at the NCAA East Prelims for the first time.


Cross Country: Maiden US collegiate cross country campaign included six meets for the middle distance track standout…finished 15th overall in debut at the Covered Bridge Open (18:26.9)…lowered her 5k XC personal-best to 18:20.7 at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational…registered 6k XC-best 22:13.0 at the Crimson Classic…also in the lineup for the ACC Championships. Indoor: Saw action in four meets, highlighted by her performance at the ACC Indoor Championships…contributed a leg to the Noles’ fifth-place DMR which posted a season-best 11:17.73…came back to finish fifth in the mile in a PB of 4:45.82 as the Noles claimed the team title. Outdoor: Posted a pair of new personal-bests over eight meets, which included appearances at the ACC Outdoor Championships and the NCAA East Preliminary…opened the season running 800 PB (2:08.87) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational…knocked off time in each of her first three 1500m races, capped by a new PB at the Bryan Clay Invitational (4:20.82)…advanced to the 1500 final at the ACC Championships but placed ninth; one spot out of scoring…did not move on past the preliminary round of the 1500 in her NCAA East debut.



Enjoyed outstanding 2017 season in Australia before joining the Noles, registering PBs in the 1500 (4:22.16) and 800 (2:09.35)…was eighth in the 1500 finals at the Australian Open National meet…helped New South Wales team to the 2015 national cross country title over 6k…best individual finish at cross country nationals was 15th…represented Australia in the 2015 Oceania Championships in the 800, 1500 and 4×400…was third in 3000 at the 2016 U20 national meet in PB (9:45.54)…was fifth in 1500 at 2015 U20 nationals…also has runner-up 3000 finish at all schools nationals…an outstanding student who is majoring in exercise physiology at FSU…daughter of Helena and Tim Skyring…born April 9, 1997.
