Enters senior season and second with Noles after transferring from Southern Miss…ranks No. 2 all-time among Noles in the hammer and No. 3 in the weight throw…posted PBs in each event to score at the ACC Indoor and Outdoor Championships…coming off strong preseason program which should position her to reach NCAA Championships and challenge for school records in both events.




Indoor: Saved her best mark for the final meet of the season at the ACC Championships…placed sixth in the weight throw with a personal-best mark of 20.62 meters (67-8), which moved her to No. 3 on FSU’s all-time list…earned second-team All-ACC honors for the performance…advanced to the finals in all five meets she competed…was runner-up at Bob Pollock Invitational with a then-best mark of 20.47m (67-2)…placed sixth in a loaded field at the Tiger Paw Invitational and fourth at Notre Dame’s Alex Wilson Invitational.


Indoor: Competed in the weight throw exclusively in four meets…was second in her debut at the Orange & Purple Elite and followed two weeks later by winning the Bob Pollock Invitational (19.68m/64-7)…unleashed a new personal-best at the ACC Indoor Championships of 20.40 meters (66-11.25) to finish sixth…ranks No. 3 on FSU’s all-time list. Outdoor: Advanced to finals of the hammer throw in each of her first five competitions…finished in the top five at the FSU Relays (third), Florida Relays (fourth) and Mt. SAC Relays (fifth), with a top mark of 61.66 meters (202-3) coming in Gainesville…placed eighth at Penn Relays…recorded two PBs at the ACC Outdoor Championships, highlighted by her fifth-round throw of 64.53 meters (211-8), and placed fifth for the Noles, who went on to claim the team title…was disappointed with 22nd-place finish at NCAA East Preliminary.


2017: Competed in five indoor meets as a freshman at Southern Miss…finished sixth in weight throw at Conference USA Indoor Championships…season-best (18.62m/61-1.25) came in third-place finish at Samford Invitational in Birmingham, Ala…outdoor slate included nine competitions, including NCAA East Preliminary in the hammer throw…recorded four hammer wins on the year, including season-best and school-record 62.04m (203-6) at the Southern Miss Open…won the Conference USA Outdoor hammer title. 2018: sophomore indoor season produced first weight throw marks over 20 meters…breakthrough came at Vanderbilt’s Music City Open with a personal-best throw of 20.35m (66-9.25) for sixth place….followed up by winning Conference USA title with a 20.29m (66-7) mark…outdoor season produced four hammer victories, beginning with FSU Relays title (60.44m/198-3)…produced season-best throw of 61.15m (200-7) in Southern Miss Invitational victory…was third at Conference USA Championships, where she also produced a shot put PB (13.72m/45-0.25)…qualified for NCAA East Preliminary meet for second consecutive year.


Represented Italy at the 2017 European U23 Championships in the hammer…was Italy national championship finalist in hammer 2014-2016…ranked No. 40 in the world in the weight throw in 2018…daughter of Tekeu Diane Balbine…majoring in entrepreneurship at Florida State…..Udine, Italy native hails from the same hometown as former FSU teammate and long-time friend Eleonora Omoregie…born June 6, 1996.
