Senior preparing to compete in her first season of cross country for the Noles…brings a strong summer base into her lone campaign on the course…transferred from the University of Alabama in January, after competing in three cross country and two track seasons…was originally recruited by Florida State following an outstanding high school career at Fort Myers, which included a pair of state titles.


Cross Country: First fall campaign with the Noles produced the finest performances of career…earned All-South Region honors for the first time in her final collegiate cross country race, placing 21st in a 6k PB (20:38.1) on the Alabama course she called home her first three seasons…was a fixture in the teams’ top four throughout the year…was fifth in the season-opening Covered Bridge Open and seventh at the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational…followed with a 5k XC PB (17:48.8) at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational…finished 43rd in her first ACC Championship performance…earned All-ACC Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic teams. Indoor: Competed in four meets…established mile PB (4:45.84) at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational…missed the ACC Championship mile finals by one spot (11th) after leading off season-best and fifth-place DMR as the Noles won the team title…also posted a 3000m PB (9:42.84) at the ACC Championships…earned All-ACC Academic honors. Outdoor: Had a busy spring, competing in seven meets…cracked 4:30 in the 1500 in all six races after opening season with a PB of 4:35.53…registered a lifetime-best 4:27.34 at the Raleigh Relays…earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.


Indoors: Hit the ground running – literally – after transferring in from Alabama in January…saw action in five meets and quickly established indoor PBs in the 800 (2:13.07), mile (4:48.61) and 3000 (9:57.53)…won her FSU debut, claiming the mile at the Clemson Invitational…highlight of her indoor campaign came at ACC Championships where her opening-leg 1200 set the tone for the Seminoles’ SB DMR (11:18.62), which narrowly missed the podium by finishing fourth. Outdoors: Initially carried momentum forward, posting a PB 4:35.53 in the 1500 at the FSU Relays…also lent a strong leg to third-place 4×800 (8:49.63) at the Tennessee Relays…established another PB in the 800 (2:11.41) at the Stanford Cardinal Classic.



Burst on the Florida prep scene as a sixth grader at the Canterbury School, scoring at the state meet on the track for three years…finished prep career at Fort Myers High where her personal-bests included 4:53.91 (1600), 10:45.42 (3200) and 2:12.68 (800)…won 2013 3A FHSAA state title in cross country and the 2013 3A 1600-meter crown for Fort Myers…competed at SEC Cross Country Championships for three years at Alabama…outstanding high school student who was a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta…also in symphonic band for four years…continued academic excellence at Alabama, where she was on the President’s List throughout her time in Tuscaloosa…majoring at exercise science at FSU…the daughter of Charles and Charlotte Edwards…born February 20, 1996.
