Returns for a final season after a breakout inaugural cross country campaign with the Noles in 2017…was the No. 1 runner on the squad last season in all but two meets, earning All-ACC honors along the way…followed with outstanding indoor and outdoor track & field seasons…a team leader in every aspect, who brings maturity and international experience to the squad as Bulgaria’s representative in the marathon at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.


Cross Country: Was a breakout performer in her first fall season with the Noles…earned first-team All-ACC honors with a sixth-place finish at the conference championship meet…posted three wins along the way (Covered Bridge, Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational and FSU Invitational), earning a conference-best three ACC Performer of the Week honors…also landed USTFCCCA National Performer of the Week honors following her debut victory at the Covered Bridge Open. Indoor: Was instrumental in helping the Noles capture the ACC Indoor Championship, placing second in the 5000 and sixth in the 3000…campaign included new PBs in the mile (4:44.89) at the Razorback Invitational, the 5000 (16:07.12) in a win at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational and the 3000 (9:23.87) at the ACC meet…the 5000m PB ranks No. 4 all-time at FSU. Outdoor: Made her first NCAA Championships appearance in the 10,000m but was unable to finish due to injury…opened the year with the No. 5 10,000 performance (33:33.70) at the Stanford Invitational…added the No. 7 5000m time (16:10.96) among Noles at the Mt. SAC Relays…also recorded a collegiate-best 4:26.19 1500 at the Seminole Twilight.



Cross Country: Sat out as required by NCAA. Indoors: Saw action in four meets, including the ACC Championships…registered SBs of 5:00.23 (mile), 9:43.30 (3000) and 17:05.39 (5000)…top finish was 11th in the 5000 in her season-best at the ACC Championships. Outdoors: Competed in six meets while varying her competitive menu between the 1500 and 5000…registered her SB 5000 at the Seminole Twilight (16:42.46), where she finished third and earn a spot on the ACC Championships roster…top 1500 (4:36.70) came in the outdoor opener at the Yellow Jacket Invitational.


Has represented Bulgaria on the national and international stage for years…finished 30th at the European Cross Country Championships in December 2016…was 108th at the Olympic Games in the marathon…set Bulgarian junior national record in the 5000m (16:35.13) in 2013…silver medalist at the 2014 European U23 cross country championships in homeland…was eighth at 2015 European U23 Championships in the 10,000…finished seventh at the European Mountain Championships…list of impressive personal-bests include: 2:10.48 (800); 4:20.18 (1500); 9:21.42 (3000); 16:26.47 (5000); 34:03.59 (10,000); 10:21.43 (3k steeplechase); 76:54 (half marathon) and 2:44.23 (marathon)…transfer student from the International Business School…pursuing a degree in social science…born May 24, 1994.
