Returning after missing the 2018 season due to injury…Slovakian star last performed at a high level in 2017, earning first All-American honors in the hammer at the NCAA Outdoor Championships…won the 2017 ACC Outdoor title in the hammer on her final attempt..holds the FSU school record in the hammer and ranks among the top five in the weight throw.



Sat out both the indoor and outdoor seasons due to injury.


Indoor: Competed in two meets in the weight throw, highlighted by her season-best mark of 17.63m (57-10.25) at the Tyson Invitational…ranks No. 4 all-time in the event in FSU history. Outdoor: Earned first-team All-American honors after placing fifth at NCAA Championships in the hammer with a collegiate-best throw of 65.97m (216-5)…claimed her first ACC hammer title on her sixth-attempt throw of 64.01m (210-0), climbing from third place….competed in 10 meets for the Noles and recorded six wins including a school record-setting debut at USF Bulls Invitational (65.75m), which she later eclipsed…closed a long year of competition by representing Slovakia at the World University Games in China.


Arrived at Florida State in January 2016 from Slovakia…one of the finest hammer throwers in Europe…has finished on the podium four consecutive years in the hammer at the Slovakia National Championships…secured her third consecutive silver at 2016…also competed at the 2015 European Junior Championships…won 2014 silver and 2013 bronze at Slovak national championships….set the Mike Long Track hammer record (68.58m/225-0) while competing unattached in 2016 at the Seminole Invitational…set PB during that same season at the Tom Jones Memorial (69.48m/227-11)…competes for Banska Bystrica club in Slovakia…majoring in social science…the daughter of Eva Kanuchova and Andrej Kanuch…born April 19, 1993.
