Cross Country: Picked up where she left off during the track season…ran two races and posted two massive personal-bests…opened at FSU Invitational with a 29th-place finish in 18:29.7, a 65-second improvement over her previous best on the Apalachee Regional Park course…followed up with huge 6k breakthrough at the Blazer Classic, placing 34th in 21:43.1; her first sub-23 performance to aid a Noles win.
Cross Country: Made first start of the season at Mountain Dew Invitational with a 5k personal-best of 18:50.2…recorded a 10th-place finish at the Bobcat Invitational, helping Noles to team title with a 6k PB (23:02.4). Indoor: did not compete. Outdoor: Ran her first collegiate 1500 (5:19.37) at the FAMU Relays…came back at FSU Relays with a new personal-best in the 5000 (18:16.02)…closed out year at the UNF Invitational.
Cross Country: Made her collegiate debut at the FSU Invitational with a stunning three-minute-plus personal-best of 19:34.5…turned in a strong 6k debut at the Crimson Classic (23:09.0). Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Built on her impressive fall while focusing primarily on the 5000…improved on personal-bests in each of her first three meets, highlighted by her 18:23.67 at the North Florida Invitational…also competed in the 3000m at the Tom Jones Memorial (10:55.05).
Outstanding high school student who graduated Magna Cum Laude from high school…was on a pair of state championship qualifying cross country teams at Seabreeze…president of Red Cross Club, vice president of Key Club and president of Medical Teen’s Club in high school…daughter of Pamela and Michael Myers…majoring in family and child sciences…born Nov. 24, 1997.
