Carries great momentum into junior season after monster 2018 in discus…recorded five new personal-bests, capped by bronze medal mark of 58.40 (191-7) at the Central American & Caribbean Games over the summer…earned second-team All-American honors to go along with her first ACC title…earned All-ACC Outdoor Academic honors for the second consecutive year.




Indoor: Competed in the shot put collegiately for the first time with four meet appearances…improved in each meet, capped by her indoor PB of 12.10m (39-8.5) at the ACC Indoor Championships, where the Noles won the team title. Outdoor: Authored a breakout year in the discus with five victories and two runner-up finishes…posted new discus personal-bests in each of her first four meets to climb to No. 2 on FSU’s all-time list behind fellow Jamaican and former teammate Kellion Knibb…took over No. 2 spot at the Pepsi Florida Relays with her third win in as many meets…pushed her PB to 57.77m (189-6) in a runner-up finish at the Mt. SAC Relays…won Penn Relays title (56.10m/184-1) and followed it up with her first ACC Outdoor discus title (57.14m/187-6)…qualified second from the NCAA East Preliminary meet and earned her second consecutive second-team All-American honor by placing 14th at NCAA Outdoor Championships…placed third at Jamaican National Championships…capped competitive season in August at the Central American & Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia with the first three 58-meter marks of her career, capped by final-round 58.40…competed in the shot put once, registering a PB of 12.12m (39-9.25) at FSU Relays.


Indoor: Did not compete. Outdoor: Fifth place finisher at the ACC Championships with a throw of 52.63m(172’8)… qualified for NCAA National Championships with East Preliminary mark of 53.19m(174’6″)… placed 12th in the NCAA Championships in the discus with personal best of 54.37m(178’4”) on her final throw, a number five overall distance in Florida State history… finished the season with All-American honors.



Put together an impressive senior season at Excelsior High, where she was a four-year captain…won 2016 ISSA Boys and Girls Championships Class 1 discus title with a record mark (52.73m)…claimed her third CARIFTA Games title (52.05m)…broke the Jamaican junior national record for the first time at the MVP meet (54.66) and raised it two weeks later at Penn Relays, with a meet record throw of 54.72 meters (179-6), earning Most Outstanding Performer honors…that marked ranked fifth in the world among junior athletes…won her second Jamaican Junior National title in 2016…represented Jamaican for the second time at the 2016 IAAF World Junior Championships in Poland…was the bronze medalist at the 2015 PanAm Junior championships…honored by JAAA/Scotiabank as the top student-athlete with the highest GPA in 2015…daughter of Eronica Dean and Richard Love…majoring in accounting…born June 9, 1995.
