2020 ACC Performer of the Week


Cross Country: Finished third overall at the Mountain Dew Invitational (21:00.27)…finished fourth overall at the FSU Invitational (16:59.8)…earned ACC Performer of the Week honors after finishing fifth overall at the UAB Blazer Classic with a 6k personal-best time (20:22.80)…earned All-ACC honors by placing fifth at the ACC Championships with a time of 20:22.3 which was a personal best…All-ACC Academic team member…USTFCCCA All-Academic team


Cross Country: Turned in her finest season to date for the Noles, who finished 12th at the NCAA Championships…a fixture in FSU’s top five all year, she placed 112th as the No. 4 runner in 21:19.4…earned All-South Region honors, helping the Noles to the team title with a seventh-place finish (20:31.7) in a personal-best 6k time…finished 37th at the ACC Championships in a runner-up team finish…was brilliant at the Under Armour Pre-National meet, placing 26th – second on the team – in a then-PB of 20:41.8…dipped under 17 minutes for the first time in a 5k cross country meet (16:56.1) to place 33rd at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational…was ninth overall at the Covered Bridge Open to begin the year. Indoor: competed in four meets and enjoyed her best season indoors…was 11th at the ACC Championships in the 5000 with a indoor PB of 16:33.79 on the heels of a 13th-place finish in the 3000; just off her PB…ran 3000 PB (9:30.20) at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational…also clocked a mile PB of 4:52.10 at the Bob Pollock Invitational.




Cross Country: Injured before the start of the season and forced to miss campaign. Indoor: Saw her first career indoor action with the Noles, competing in three meets, including the ACC Championships…debuted with a 3000m personal-best (9:56.39) at the Bob Pollock Invitational…established a new indoor PB in the 5000 (17:05.07) at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Outdoor: Enjoyed amazing progress, establishing new PBs in each of her three starts over 1500m and 5000m…debuted at FSU Relays in 1500 (4:32.29), which she lowered to 4:28.54 at the Crimson Tide Invitational…took that to a new level over the summer at the Music City Distance Carnival by running PB of 4:24.60…followed similar arc in 5000, finishing second at Florida Relays (16:51.70) and whacked 18 seconds off that mark when she was third in her section at the Bryan Clay Invitational (16:33.14)…placed 14th at the ACC Outdoor Championships with PB of 16:30.49.


Cross Country: Enjoyed tremendous early success as a member of the scoring five before suffering an injury…opened season with top 15 finished at the Covered Bridge Open and Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational…dropped a 5k XC personal-best 17:47.0 at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational where she was fourth among teammates…finished sixth overall at the FSU Invitational, but missed the next month due to injury…returned to the lineup for the NCAA South Region meet where she posted a 6k XC best 21:35.2 as the Noles’ No. 6 runner. Indoor: Did not compete due to injury. Outdoor: Made track debut at the Yellow Jacket Invitational with a 5000m PB (17:22.67)…jumped up to the 10,000m for the first time at the Raleigh Relays where she posted a respectable 37:22.05…season-best performance came at the Bryan Clay Invitational where she was the 5000m section runner-up in PB 16:57.90.



Won 2017 Tennessee AAA 1600 title outdoors (5:04.32) and the indoor mile crown (5:05.81), while finished second outdoors in the 3200 (11:00.70)…posted back-to-back fourth-place finishes at the TSSAA AAA State Cross Country Championships as a junior and senior…also a two-time all-state selection as a member of Independence’s 4×800…finalist for 2016 Tennessean Cross Country Runner of the Year…excelled in the classroom…on the Principal’s List and Top 25 Scholar all four years…member of both the National Honor Society and Math Honors Society…majoring in dietetics…owns one of the top GPAs among FSU student-athletes, earning her third President’s List (4.0 gpa) honor in the spring of 2019…the daughter of Pam and Jon Coggins…father played basketball at Georgia State…born Oct. 18, 1998.
