Outdoor: First competed for the Noles at the USF Bulls Invite earning two personal best marks in the HK (1.58m) and the JT (32.97m) and finished 10th in the 100H (15.15 (-1.4))…at FSU Relays once again recorded to PB’s this time in the LJ (5.73m) and SP (9.15m) and finished 11th in the 100H (17.48 (0.1))…at the Pepsi Florida Relays finished 11th in the JT (32.95m), 17th in the LJ (5.55m) and 24th in the 100H (14.75w (2.6))…earned two personal best times at the UF Tom Jones Invitational first in the 400 (59.15) and then the 100H (14.57 (-1.3)) also placed 21st in the LJ (5.55m)…at the North Florida Invite recorded a personal best time in the 200 (25.91 (0.1)), finished 18th in the HJ (1.55m), 19th in the JT (30.78m) and 40th in the SP (8.34m).
Qualified for the 2019 AAU National Championships in the heptathlon as the No. 3 seed nationally but was unable to compete due to an injury…completed high school career at Ponte Vedra, transferring from West Forsyth in Cumming, Ga. prior to her senior year…won district 400-meter title as a senior and also set the Ponte Vedra 100-meter record…chose FSU despite six NCAA Division I lacrosse offers after earning All-American honors in 2018 and 2019… was 2018 female athlete of the year at West Forsyth…played varsity basketball as a freshman and sophomore…outstanding student who graduated magna cum laude and was a four-year member of the National Honor Society…intends to major in biology at FSU..the daughter of Christy and Dan Madson…born Sept. 19, 2000.
