2022

Outdoor: Took home her first ACC title in the 800m run with a time of 2:03.68 to become the first female Nole to win an ACC title in the 800m run since 2008…Ran a personal best and finished second in the 1500m run (4:17.88) at the UNF Invitational…Finished fourth in the 800m run with a time of 2:04.58 at the Virginia Challenge…Named the ACC Women’s Track Performer of the Week on Apr. 19…Placed fourth in the 800m with a time of  2:03.54 at the UF Tom Jones Memorial Invitational…Finished first in the 1500m with a time of 4:21.55 and helped the 4x400m relay to a first-place finish at the Florida State Relays.

Indoor: Finished second in the 800m behind a school record time of 2:04.31 to earn a First Team All-ACC honor at the ACC Championships… also competed in the 4x400m relay… claimed second place in the 800m at the Tyson Invitational with the second fastest time in school history (2:04.51)… Made her Florida State debut at the Clemson Invite in the 800m run where she finished third with a time of 2:07.68.

2020-21 (Vanderbilt)

Was an USTFCCCA All-Academic…Selected to the spring SEC Academic Honor Roll…Competed at all four indoor meets and five outdoor meets…Ranked No. 15 in the East and No. 25 in the nation in the outdoor 800 meters (2:04.35)…Won the 800 meters (2:04.35) and 4×400 relay (3:39.71) at Black and Gold Invitational on Apr. 17…Won the 800 meters (2:06.40) at the Miami Invite on Apr. 10…Runner-up in the outdoor 1,500 meters with season-best 4:27.37 at Bulldog Relays on Mar. 26…Third in the outdoor 1,500 meters (4:30.38) at outdoor season-opening Tiger Classic on Mar. 19…Second-fastest indoor 800 meters (2:07.29) in school history at Music City Challenge on Feb. 13…Second in the indoor 800 meters (2:09.36) at Arkansas Qualifier on Feb. 5…Member of winning distance medley relay (11:52.11) at Vanderbilt Invitational on Jan. 16.

2016-17 (LSU)

Earned SEC Outdoor Co-Freshman of the Year…Finished second in the 800m at the 2017 SEC Indoor and Outdoor Championships…Ran a personal best time of 2:03.01 at the NCAA Indoor Championships to finish fifth…Earned SEC Freshman of the Week three times throughout the season…Was a part of the school record distance medley relay team and the spring medley relay team.

Personal

Was a decorated athlete in high school earning all state honors in soccer and track and was a member of the state championship soccer team for Wayzata High School…Was a member of the Under 12 Minnesota State Championship team in hockey…The daughter of Alison Coffey and Robb Stauber and the stepdaughter of Mike Coffey and Shivaun Stauber…Her dad, Robb, played college hockey at the University of Minnesota and went on to play in the NHL for the Los Angeles Kings and the Buffalo Sabres. He also was the head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team that won a gold medal in 2018…Her mom, Alison, ran track for Coach Bob Braman at South Florida and also ran professionally for Asics West…Her step-dad Mike played baseball at Notre Dame…Has three siblings, Jaxson, Lula and Ellie…Jaxson currently plays hockey for Providence College…Ruby is majoring in Athletic Coaching and Sports Management…Born on Sept. 30, 1997.
