Cross Country: Joined the Seminoles at the NCAA Championships where she placed 248th in the 6k at 23:46.7…USTFCCCA All-Academic Team
Indoor T&F: Helped the DMR place third at the NCAA Championships, which was the highest finish in the event in school history…placed 10th in the 800m (2:08.65) and took silver in the mile at 4:43.89…earned All-ACC honors…placed 13th in the mile at the Tyson Invitational (4:44.22) and was third in the DMR…took fourth place in the 3000m at the Bob Pollock Indoor Invitational (9:23.20).
Outdoor T&F: Finished 40th in the 1500m at the NCAA East Regionals with a time of 4:27.72…took 15th in the 1500 (4:22.99) at the ACC Championships…ran the 800m (2:15.49) and 1500m (4:21.03) at the North Florida Invite and placed 22nd and seventh respectively…finished 23rd in the 800m (2:10.33) and seventh in the 1500m (4:19.35) at the UF Tom Jones Invitational…opened the season at the Pepsi Florida Relays taking 12th in the 800m at 2:10.95.
Cross Country: Competed in five weeks while making the transition to longer distances in her first collegiate experience…improved each time out in three 5k events…finished second at the UAH Charger Open in just her second meet and was recognized as the ACC Freshman of the Week; the first of two such awards…posted season-best 18:02.4 to place 10th overall at the FSU Invitational against a solid field…turned in impressive 6k debut at the Blazer Classic, placing fourth overall in 20:56.4 and earning her second ACC Freshman of the Week honor…capped season at ACC Championships, placing 68th in the deep field. Indoor: competed in four meets, including the ACC Championships, while focusing on the middle distances (800, mile, DMR)…top performances came the David Hemery Valentine Invitational where she recorded a pair of PBs running 2:12.59 (800) and 4:53.09 (mile)…was a winner in her Noles track debut, contributing an 800 leg to the victorious distance medley relay at the Vanderbilt Invitational (11:25.93).
Has established herself as one of the rising age-group talents in the world in a short career…closed the 2019 season with a ninth place finish in the 1500 at the U20 European Championships in July, just five months after her 17th birthday…ranks No. 20 in the world in the 1500 (PB 4:23.26) on the youth list, 54th in the 800 (2:08.89) and 31st in the 3000 (9:38.59)…was the 2019 Dutch Indoor junior champion in the 1500 and runner-up in the 800…represents AV Cifla on the club level at home…talented student who will gear her studies toward the health sciences at FSU…is the daughter of Suzanne Klomp…born Feb. 18, 2002.
