Senior pole vaulter who has been hampered by injury, limiting her 2018 and 2019 seasons…competed in three outdoor meets in 2019; her first action since 2018 outdoor season…posted her collegiate-best performance at the Crimson Tide Invitational to finish seventh…a three-member of the ACC Academic Honor Roll.



Indoor: Competed in three meets over her final season with the Noles…top performance (3.52m/11-6.5) came at the Bob Pollock Invitational.



Indoor: Did not compete while recovering from injury. Outdoor: made her first appearance in uniform since May of 2018 with a runner-up finish at the FSU Relays…followed up with the top performance of her career with a clearance of 3.72 meters (12-2.5) …followed up with a sixth-place finish at the Tom Jones Memorial.


Indoor: Competed in a pair of meets…posted collegiate indoor best of 3.55m (11-7.75) to finish sixth at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational in Iowa. Outdoor: Strung together her two best collegiate clearances during the outdoor season…opened with a seventh-place finish at UCF Black & Gold Challenge and matched her clearance of 3.65 meters (11-11.75) to place third at FSU Relays…placed fifth at the Seminole Twilight.


Indoor: Competed in two meets…placed eighth in collegiate debut at the Clemson Invitational…followed with a season-best indoor clearance of 3.50m (11-5.75) at the Bob Pollock Invitational. Outdoor: Saw action in four meets…posted a pair of top-10 finishes, both at home…was sixth at FSU Relays (3.53m/11-7) and seventh at Seminole Twilight.


Transitioned to pole vault after nine years of competitive gymnastics, where she reached level 9 competition…high school outdoor personal-best of 3.65 meters (12-0) came at 2015 Bob Hayes Invitational…earlier in the year finished third at the Avenues Mall Vault in Jacksonville – an indoor competition – with an all-time best of 3.70 meters (12-1.75)…placed fourth as a freshman at the 4A state meet and second as a sophomore…as well as age group AAU and USATF Junior Olympic All-American….missed senior season due to injury…was Olympia High Female Athlete of the Year and team captain…graduated Summa Cum Laude with weighted 4.5 gpa…a member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and National Art Honor Society…daughter of Kortney and Jurgen Schafers…majoring in communications…born June 17, 1998.
