Seminoles Hold Final Practice Before Wake Forest Game

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The No. 1/2 Florida State Seminoles had their final
practice before this Saturday’s ACC finale with Wake Forest. The game will
be aired on Jefferson-Pilot at 12 p.m.

The team once again split up into separate segments, offensive and
defensive, and practice at two different sites due to inclement weather.
The offense went out to the practice field for seven periods in shorts and
then into an inside gym at the Moore Athletic Center to complete the
21-period session. The defense ran all periods at Tully Gym, a bigger
facility with more space to practice.

“We split up today,” said Coach Bobby Bowden. “The defense went over
there to Tully and the offense worked here (Moore) inside. The offense did
get some time outside working on their kicking game and some set plays. We
got in everything we would normally do on a Thursday.”

There were no injuries reported after this evening’s practice.
