
Alaina Chacon returns to Florida State in a coaching role for her the first time in her career. Chacon competed for the Seminoles from 2018 to 2022. She is a two-time national runner-up and lines the Florida State record books. In Chacon’s last season, she earned CCSA Pair of the Week (4/13/22), a spot on the CCSA All-Academic Team, and on the NCAA All-Tournament Team. She retired collegiate play ranked second all-time at FSU with 100 career dual match wins, ranked second all-time with partner Madison Fitzpatrick for victories by a pair with 58 wins, ranked second all-time at FSU with 45 career victories on court one and tied for fourth all-time with 36 career victories on court two. During the 2022 national championship run, Chacon and partner, Fitzpatrick, broke the record for most victories during the NCAA Championship Tournament with six.
