
Belle Daugherty was hired in the fall of 2021 to the position of Media Manager for Seminole Sports Cinema (prev. Seminole Productions). She joined Florida State’s athletic staff with the primary responsibility of managing the organization and the distribution of all internally produced media assets and legacy footage within FSU Athletics She is also responsible for fulfilling footage requests, editing, producing, and supporting projects across FSU Athletics, including FSU Football, Men’s/Women’s Basketball, Baseball, and the Seminole Boosters.
Additionally, Daugherty works as a live broadcast operator for Seminole Productions with the primary responsibility of supporting ESPN’s ACC Network and ESPN College Football on linear home-game TV shows as the main video shader and camera operator.
Prior to Florida State, Daugherty served as the Head Editor for the Panamanian International Film Festival where she managed and created all video production, TV sponsorship, and social media content for this prestigious event.
Before transitioning to this role, she served as the Manager of Digital Media Content at the FSU Republic of Panama Campus. She was the Production Assistant for various sports marketing corporations beginning in 2014. In her role she had the opportunity to work with Latin America’s top athletes and sports brands by creating innovative and compelling digital media marketing campaigns.
Daugherty graduated from Florida State University in 2021 with a degree in Digital Media Production and a minor in Commercial Entrepreneurship. She is currently a Master of Science Candidate for the Sport Management program within the FSU College of Education.
She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and then moved to Panama City, Republic of Panama, where she grew up and spent the first 20 years of her life.
