Andrew DeGood is in his fifth season at Florida State after joining the FSU baseball staff as the Clubhouse & Equipment Manager in December 2015. In 2019, DeGood and volunteer coach Tyler Holt began to oversee the Mike Martin Jr. Baseball Camps.
The Hamilton, Mich., native is primarily responsible for the ordering and maintenance of all equipment and apparel for Florida State baseball. He will also oversee the budgets that include such companies as Nike and Louisville Slugger.
DeGood, who began serving as an instructor and coach at the Mike Martin Baseball Camp in June 2015, was also an instructor and teacher’s assistant for both the golf and bowling classes at Florida State while working towards his Master’s degree. DeGood graduated with his master’s in sport management from FSU in April 2016.
Prior to joining the Seminoles in a full-time capacity, DeGood served as the Student Manager for two years, as he assisted with equipment distribution and organization, game day and practice preparation of the field as well as participation in batting practice and catching drills.
DeGood was a four-year letterman in baseball at Trine University, located in Angola, Ind., while earning his bachelor of science in business administration with a 3.14 GPA in May 2014. DeGood and his wife, Lindsey, married in 2017 and welcomed their son Aiden in May 2019.
