- Devynn Merriman begins her first season as the Director of Volleyball Operations at Florida State University.
- Merriman served under current Associate Head Coach Lindsay Allman while at Indiana State University, spending time as a defensive specialist before moving into a role as student assistant coach.
- In her undergraduate coaching experience, she assisted the ISU coaching staff with practice and gameday operations.
- Merriman spent two years on Indiana State’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, establishing a relationship with the athletic department’s administration as well as other student-athletes.
- Adding to an already well-versed background, Merriman interned with Indiana State Athletics for a season in 2020-21 and worked with the department’s sponsorship team, sports information unit and media staff.
- Merriman also spent a season with the Terre Haute Rex in a marketing capacity, playing a role with ticket sales and developing a strong rapport with the team’s local sponsors.
- Prior to coming to FSU, she was an events intern with Indiana Sports Corp in Indianapolis, where she managed hospitality for several athletes, coaches and officials.
