Emily Hutcherson enters her 10th season at Florida State and her eighth season with the FSU women’s basketball team. She previously worked with the Seminole women’s indoor volleyball team from 2010-11, which included an NCAA Final Four run in 2011.
In 2018, Hutcherson was promoted to Associate Director of Sports Medicine. She is a constant presence around the nationally-ranked women’s basketball team, providing daily treatment to ensure the health of her student-athletes. Besides working primarily with women’s basketball, she has assisted with the treatment of several other sports at Florida State.
Hutcherson is a 2008 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., where she earned a B.A. in athletic training, and a 2010 graduate of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va., where she earned a M.E in health and physical education.
