
Erik joined the Seminoles at the start of the 2018-2019 school year. He oversees the Sprints, Jumps, and Throws strength programs for the Men’s and Women’s Track and Field teams.
Before arriving at FSU, Erik was part of the staff at Butler University during the 2017-18 season working directly with track and field, swimming, and tennis while assisting with football.
In January 2016, he joined the strength staff with the Towson University Tigers. During his time at Towson, Erik programmed for the Track and field throwers and field hockey while assisting with the Tiger’s football and track and field teams.
After a volunteer internship in 2013, he joined the University of Michigan Olympic Strength staff for the 2014-2015 season.
During his college years, Erik was a track and field athlete and football player at Albion College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. With a year left of eligibility, he joined the track and field team at Eastern Michigan University as a hammer thrower during his first year of his graduate school. While staying on as a volunteer for the Track team, Erik finished his Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology.
