Head Football Equipment Manager

Jason Baisden, a two-time Florida State graduate, is in his first year as FSU’s head football equipment manager in 2021.

He was at Maryland from 2013-21, most recently as the associate athletics director for operations and equipment. His duties also included serving as the sport supervisor for the women’s golf program.

Prior to Maryland, Baisden was the University of Florida’s equipment manager for eight seasons after spending the 2004 season as assistant equipment manager. While there, his main responsibilities centered around ordering and accounting for Florida football equipment, while also directing game-day equipment efforts for the team.

A native of Lake City, Fla., Baisden earned his bachelor’s degree in physical education in 1999 from Florida State and completed his master’s degree in sports administration in 2000 from FSU.

Baisden and his wife, Courtney, have two sons, Blair and Brennan, and one daughter, Bryleigh.
