
Lesedi Jacobs, who helped lead Florida State to the NCAA Tournament in 2022, is in her first season as a student assistant for the Seminole Women’s Tennis team. She completed her collegiate career as a Seminole in 2022 after playing the first five seasons of her career at the University of Kentucky
Jacobs is currently working on completing her Master’s in Business from Florida State. She earned three degrees from the University of Kentucky — a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Finance during her playing career with the Wildcats.
Jacobs was a standout for the Seminoles in her only playing season in Tallahassee. She was one of Florida State’s top players who earned 17 wins (11 in doubles play and six in singles play) in her only season as a Seminole. Jacobs was ranked as high as No 16 nationally in doubles (with Petra Hule) during the week of February 27, 2022.
Jacobs was selected to the 2020 SEC Community Service Team. She was named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll four times, the ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2022, and was named to the ITA Scholar Athlete team five times.
