Montaze Trumbo is in his first season as Florida State’s creative director for football in 2018.
Trumbo came to Tallahassee after one season as the director of football external relations at Oregon under head coach Willie Taggart. In that role, Trumbo promoted the Ducks’ football program through graphic design and social media.
Prior to his time at Oregon, he spent a year at Louisville as the football program’s creative director. At Louisville, he was responsible for visually representing the football program through mail, video, posters, in-house branding, digital media and social media.
Before entering collegiate athletics, Trumbo was a graphic designer for the Metropolitan Sewer District in Louisville, where he created educational, marketing and advertising materials through print, electronic and video mediums.
Trumbo earned his bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Western Kentucky in 2006, and in 2011 he completed his master’s degree in business administration from Sullivan University.
