
Nicole Lowery joined the Florida State University Sports Medicine staff in August of 2021 as an assistant athletic trainer working with the Seminole women’s basketball program. She also serves as oversight for the women’s golf athletic training intern.
Before arriving in Tallahassee, Lowery served as an assistant athletic trainer at the University of Kansas for the women’s basketball and women’s golf teams (2017-2021) and the University of Louisville with the women’s lacrosse and women’s volleyball teams (2012-2017).
A Pensacola, Florida native, Lowery graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2010. She obtained her master’s degree in athletic training in 2012 from West Virginia University where she also served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the women’s volleyball and rowing programs (2010-2012).
Lowery is a Graston M-1 provider, certified in blood flow restriction (BFR) rehabilitation through Owen’s Recovery Science, and trained in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
