Scott Mottice - Women's Tennis - Florida State Seminoles
Director of Tennis Operations

Scott Mottice is the Director of Women’s Tennis Operations. Before joining the tennis programs, Mottice worked for over 25 years as a campus director with Athletes in Action, including the previous two years as campus director at Florida State.

Before coming to Tallahassee, Mottice worked for five years as the Director of Campus Partnerships at the Athletes in Action headquarters in Xenia, Ohio, where he travelled across the country providing leadership and development for student-athletes and coaches. Mottice previously worked for 14 years as 221the campus director of Athletes in Action at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Prior to Madison, Mottice worked in a similar capacity at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, where he taught English as a second language.

A Warren, Ohio native, Mottice began his career as campus director at Illinois State University after graduating from Bowling Green in 1990 with a B.S. in Business Administration. Mottice holds an M.A. in Sports Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.

Mottice is also an avid water skier and coached the club water ski team at Wisconsin, and has participated in three Ironman Triathlon events.
