
Guite, from Huntington Beach, California, was hired as the Director of Player Development in September 2022 after spending three seasons as the director of operations at Notre Dame. At Notre Dame, Guite was part of the same staff with Link Jarrett, Rich Wallace, Chuck Ristano and Brad Vanderglas. Prior to his time in South Bend, Guite was an assistant coach at Georgetown College in Kentucky after two years as a volunteer coach at UNC-Greensboro under Jarrett. Guite was a two-year letterwinner for the Spartans from 2013-14, playing in 68 games at third base. As a senior, he earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors after hitting .366 with 74 hits, 52 runs scored, 15 doubles, three home runs and 21 RBI.
In the classroom, Guite was a Capital One Academic All-District First Team as a senior, earning SoCon All-Academic honors both years at UNCG before graduating with a degree in sociology in 2014. At Florida State, Guite will manage technology video efficiency for the program; oversee student-athlete daily schedules, organizational efficiency, the student manager program, assist with practice preparation and help with collegiate summer league placements among other duties.
