Taylor Wheaton

Taylor Wheaton joined the Florida State University Athletics Department in January 2016 and serves as the Associate Director of Facilities & Events. She currently oversees facilities operations for the Florida State Basketball Training Center, McIntosh Building, Mike Long Track, and Beach Volleyball Complex and serves as the primary event manager for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Track & Field, Cross Country, and Beach Volleyball.

Prior to Florida State, Wheaton attended George Mason University. She competed as a track & field student-athlete, earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management and her Master’s Degree in International Sport & Recreation Studies. During her time at GMU, she held the role as Assistant Operations & Event Manager.

A native of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Wheaton is the proud parent to daughter Leila.
