Adam Kearns joined the FSU Strength and Conditioning staff as a Graduate Assistant in January 2018, where he will pursue his Master’s in Sports Management. He works directly with the men’s and women’s tennis teams.
Prior to joining Florida State, Adam interned at the University of Iowa, working with baseball, men’s basketball, men’s golf, and women’s soccer. He also spent a summer working at Arizona State University, assisting with their football team’s sports performance program.
Adam gained his first experience in the field at Catalyst Sports Medicine, located in Hudson, Wisconsin. During his time at Catalyst, he worked with two separate high schools, assisting with their strength and conditioning programs.
Adam earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Health, Wellness, and Fitness from University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2016. He is certified through the NSCA as a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), as well as a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach from USAW. He also holds certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Red Cross.
